They boasted about the AI speakers because... stay at... moreIf there’s no dedicated DAC my V20 has (I think it’s an ESS Sabre- I forget the specific model), then I take back what I said earlier. I was under the impression that this had similar audio chops like my V20.

I don’t see a USP with this phone then. Why would you pick one of these that would possibly be having a sluggish, clunky UI, dubious software update prospects (LG sucks at this) and depreciates like a skydiver doing a free fall if it weren’t for the audio chops (or the camera- but I’m bad at judging cam quality anyways)?

KR people still burned by V50 (G8X global) -> V50S (korea only)transition. A few months apart and the latter with better dual screen functionality.

            355$ good for this package
            Not More

            after 1month & a half must be on 312$

I love the sleek look of that phone. That back glass finish is really attractive. Specs are absolutely fine all around as well. If you're not satisfied with the price, then wait a few months. LG phones drop in price quite soon.

I'm considering purchasing this device from Italy as I live in the UK. Will LG send the 400 euros worth of goodies with the phone or is it only for the Italian market?

I'm not sure if Velvet has a QuadDac

Looks like a good phone. I wonder if that dual screen is actually useful.

LG and Sony has to be more amicable towards the carriers and release it accordingly so people can buy it with monthly installment. for example, with a 24months installment period, 500 euro to 600 euro hike would mean ~4 euro a month more. it wont be noticed by majority but 100euro extra at once would make it a bad purchase.

This is a good mid/upper mid ranger that’s great for audiophiles. Its success depends solely on how it is priced. As for me, I expect LG to price it optimistically, see it fail in the market and slash the price aggressively. That’s when I would consider buying this as a replacement to my trusty V20.
