They may not be the same fans that bought the Redmi 8 as the 9 is more upscale. That won it new fans, however, so it should work out okay.

    In my country the redmi note 9 is $190 for the 4gb/64gb model, redmi 9 is $140 for the same memory configuration. The redmi 8 goes for $130 while the 8A is $95. The redmi 7A is even cheaper at $85.

      Redmi 7A is still best value for money for me. Imo.

          The 7A here costs $140, 8A at $160. If the 9c could undercut those 2 with a Helio G processor. It would make a difference. For the non-tech savvy people I know who aren't exactly wealthy.

            A more affordable redmi 9A will be unveiled to cater for the $90 - $100 price range. That is what makes xiaomi popular.
