Due to its screen aspect ratio it seems that this device will be the successor of Moto One Vision.

Why the hell, they give the name 'edge' lite when it's not going to have a curved edge screen itself! Wrong calculation moto!

Moto should learn to make proportionate screens, they reduce the width if the phone so heavily making it look like a ugly long tall bar.

Great Call for everyone who buy Edge+

How did i end up here?? The shape of the phone, yes it is 21:9 display indeed! Well done Motorola.

For the people who are whining over the 21:9 display see you in 2025 when this aspect ratio become standard.

You've got choice with Redmi 10X 5G (beware 4g model is far far weaker) and 10X Pro...it's Amoled but 60Hz only
...and iQoo Z1 with Dimensity 1000+, more powerfull, with AV1 support (unavailable on SD865!), 144hz, but...IPS

Rumors talk about a Redmi with D1000+ and 144hz screen

What's more important is the overall size of the phone and if it were between 140mm and 145mm, I'd be happy.

smartb66, 20 Jun 2020A 6" AMOLED with single tiny punch hole on left side with 9... moreOne Plus Z will give snapdragon 765G under 400$ for 6+128 version and decent camera.

They are nowhere in competition these days. Xiaomi gave us snapdragon 845 in 300$ with POCO F1 and Snapdragon 730G in Poco X2. Nokia giving snapdragon 636/660 in same price. Who will buy them?

I like the Edge, and the name that suggests the curved waterfall screen. However the Lite variant will nog have the curved screen so technically it shouldn't be called Edge.

A 6" AMOLED with single tiny punch hole on left side with 90hz Panel + 6GB RAM + Mediatek Dimensity 820 (cost effective than Snapdragon 765G or 768G but powerful enough) + 4000-5000 mAh battery with min 18W charging + Decent Camera, doesn't matter one sensor or 4 but should produce decent day and night photos + Stock Android under $300 makes more sense for any brand say Moto, Nokia , LG, HTC , SONY to make comeback in competitive markets.

Anonymous, 20 Jun 2020Can't we just get a Moto G Mini or Motorola One Mini instead? A moto g with 6inch screen and sd730g would be a great phone. But then it might never happen.

Dual punch-hole ruined it for me. Single punch-hole is bearable, but dual one is pointless and very distracting.

                                      >The screen will be a 6.7" 1080x2520
a bit too large but alright

                                      >with 21:9 aspect ratio
not a big fan but it's alright

                                      >90Hz refresh rate
cool, we need more high refresh screen to make them a new norm

                                      >an in-display fingerprint sensor
                                      nice

Never ever going to buy it
