Keep in mind that next gen os is not required for previous mobile. Usually OS update is required only for handling new hardware. Moto phones come with stock android. Clear UI without any bloatware. I am big fan of Moto. Used Moto defy+, Moto g, Moto g5 plus and lenovo P2. We can use Moto phones for at least 2.5 years without any issues. Mi phones giving trouble after one year.

The problem with majority of Motorola device is that they won't provide you much Android update. Why should I spend so much and stuck with same generation of Android where as other company provides future relase of Android. Motorola think that we consumer will just shut our mouth, close our eyes and simply buy their product. I have made mistake once in my life but not again no matter how much beautiful model they come up with.

I was going to buy the Edge but now i´ll wait for this one and the oneplus Z Nord.
Moto is going after Oneplus, they should. The new oneplus looks very promising

Specs looks promising. I am not sure about the naming, though. It makes little sense to be called Edge Lite without waterfall display. It looks more like successor of One Vision having tall aspect ratio and punch hole display. I think it is going to have different name, not sure which one... One Vision Plus, maybe?

I only want a phone looks like One Hyper (no notch or punch hole, LCD) with 765G (X52 modem, WIFI6, Bluetooth 5.0, etc).

Motorola needs to work on one thing on priority and that is - timely updates for phone , at least for this one.
It's going to compete with 3 strong entries in this segment - iPhone SE, Pixel4a and One+ affordable phone.
All three of the competitors have great track record in terms of software updates.

If it has a decent camera , Amoled screen , sd card and/or headphone jack I will buy it for sure . Who cares about pixel 4a this thing will be better!
