Ok, so it shows it's capturing clipboard. But can this behavior be blocked on OS level? Notification is of no use really if you don't have control over the actual content being pasted around.

I genuinely wish to know about the "granular controls over security in Android" with and without root access.

Some of the basic ones such as read access to contacts, access to microphone and camera, etc, I am aware of these settings, but others I am not.

It would be helpful if you could therefore elaborate on the more advanced granular controls regarding security on Android, particularly which and how such settings can be set with root access.

I appreciate you response in advance, 'Android Master'.

Coz you are allergic to facts that might be exposed about your beloved iPhone family.

            "It is not required"?
LOL iOS users again with their predictable responses.
Not required just like the buffet of features and services on Android that are alien to iOS users.

[deleted post]"Can you do that on iOS or for that matter on a jailbroken iPhone? NOPE.."

Better question - is it required on iOS?

NOPE. Because it's far superior with regards to security.

Does iOS14 resolve the car play BT touch functionalities? 13.4 onwards has put an end to BT controllers from playing games, is this resolved in 14?

Regardless what OS or what device, iPhones, Macs, Android phones, tablets, PC etc...
Our privacy and our datas are at risk, and regularly new things invading our privacy get developed by one app/software/company then spread to become a norm.

Yet there are still idiots saying they don't care about it, peoples don't realize how bad lack of privacy can get, it can literally ruin or even end your life, it isn't about targeted ads since a while now, from someone trying to steal an identity to a government that doesn't like you, the risks are far greater than most peoples realize, and even if THEY don't care about their privacy, they don't have the right to lets such intrusion become a norm just because they don't care and basically stupidly argue against those who fight for their own privacy.

Apps accessing clipboard is almost nothing compared to all the ways our data are getting collected.
That's the main reason why I prefer pop up camera (as no front camera at all isn't an option yet) which stay hidden and alert you when an app illegally try to take your image (which may be our most precious thing).
And YES we do spread our pics and other info on social media and blah blah blah, but there is a HUGE difference between something you deliberately post online, and an information you kept for yourself being gathered or even your voice or image being taken without your consent in any possible situation (including possibly with sensitive documents with you, like ID card or credit card) without you even knowing it.

We SHOULD react, but peoples are too sheep to even understand they don't like it when anyone can potentially be watching while having intimate or private moment.

                            Peoples in a nutshell...

This is what i've been wondering. I always just assumed OS would prevent apps from reading the clipboard and only read the one you select to paste in, which should be the app that's opened and facing you on the screen
