[deleted post]I am using ROG 2 as my daily driver which is running Snapdragon SOC.
I didn't upgrade to S20 series COZ of unnecessary high price and lackluster Exynos performance compared to its Snapdragon counterparts.
I don't tr*ll every comment section on how bad the Exynos 990 is like you do.
Go get a life.
Exynos running S10 is sitting at home only being used on certain occasions.
I didn't switch to ROG 2 coz of Exynos chip but for variety of other reasons.
And my S10 also doesn't overheat or anything. But I am also using rooted custom tweaked version of one ui 2.1.

No 960fps super slow motion recording even though processor supports it.

I bet it will be a short burst of frames just like the super slow mo on recent Android flagships, because I mean, what kind of sensor has a readout speed that is fast enough to scan through 8 million pixels 240 times per second continuously? Even if Apple managed to develop such a ridiculously fast sensor, how would ISP be able to handle this amount of data throughput? That's a pure absurdity.

You need at least 33MP in 16:9 ratio for 8K.
Being able to do 4K@120/240 has nothing to do with 8K.

SD865 is capable of 4K@120, 4K@60 HDR 10 bit and 8K@30.

Interesting feature. Which means that Apple has chosen a MUCH BETTER new sensor. I am also guessing that the 4k is going to be Even Better than it is now, and we should see noticeable improvements in Dynamic Range too (hopefully finally as good as some cinema cameras). Also, 8k should be easily possible if it can do 4k at 240fps and 120fps. 8k is 4 times the resolution if 4k. Plus, hopefully Apple is generous enough to offer either ProRes or some other flavour of 10-bit video.
Hopefully Apple engineers are smart enough to have 8k converted into 4k in-camera, with way better detail, much lesser noise and better overall image too.

I don't think that Apple would drastically differentiate the 2020 line up in camera section. Pros may get 3x or 5x zoom lenses but I believe Apple would still serve a 2x mode for better portrait shots by cropping the center of the image from the zoom lens and extending the frame with the wide lense's image (just a thought).
With that in mind, I believe 12 and 12+ will be equipped with last generation 2x optical zoom lens.
In the end, Pros may have one extra: LiDAR.
Anyway, it'll be clear once developers dig into iOS 14 codes.
