Erm... Excuse me... But the A78 micro architecture will roast the A14... And... The X1 Custom Core... Will leave the A14 in the dust... If you know what I know about this SoC... The 855+/865/865+ are all better or as good as the A13... But the 875 will clearly leave A14 behind.

This is now a PC class chip, so naturally it costs $250.
You get a CPU, GPU and modem for that.
Next gen flagships will start at $1300-1500.

Mobile games already started using over 1GB RAM and with 2GB being unusable in 4GB RAM devices they are pretty much doomed for the future games. What even is the point of a flagship if you arent gonna have everything on extra?

The name "flagship" exists for extra devices. You just want the chipset? Go for some flagship killer or a midrangee

I want something to brag but delivered flawlessly but that doesn't mean I'll religiously use it. I'm no idiot. Sure I got a 120hz capable flagship such as the RoG 2 but I stick it to 90hz and will not intend to go 120hz until a game like Mobile Legends natively output 120hz but so far, they only do 60hz.

You also still have 4/64 midrangers. For example A31. Or A21s.

Or get one with 3/32 configuration like the A21.

You have options. You just dont want to look for them.

Also, I have no idea where you live but P40 Lite and A51 cost the same and are half the price of a P30 Pro here.

S10 and S10 Lite cost the same with a Samsung GaÅŸaxy watch active between them and A71.

Old flagships are still flagships and they dont fall down from 900 to 400 in a single year if you arent buying a second hand device

                                      Which one do you recommend?
Zero, because such thing does not exist anymore. Not even 64GB.
If I want new phone, I have to pay for 128/256GB + 8/12GB that I will never use half of it.
No midrange is worth buying over previous flagships.

                                      Pixel 2 beats 3a.
                                      Galaxy S10 beats A71.
                                      Xperia 5 beats 10ii.
                                      P30 Pro beats P40 Lite.
                                      V50 beats Velvet.

If back in 2015/2016, the chinese brands were not pushing more ram to attract geeks because phones had nothing else good to offer, none today would be using 8/12/16GB.

It is like driving a Lamborghini in Manhattan at 6 p.m ..... Useless
