What the **** is wrong with ALL the manufacturers? Why did all of them decide there won't be any QWERTY sliders for the european market? The boring and unpractical boards disgust me

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2012What is the point of hardware keyboards in this era of bril... moreInteresting, hey. QWERTY users see it the opposite way.
I don't know why people would want to lose that much screen space by an on-screen keyboard.. Hardware keyboard frees things up ane makes it easier to use.

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2012What is the point of hardware keyboards in this era of bril... moreI think you mean "software" not "hardware" keyboard, no?
Bdw, double posting it thus double negative in this case doesn't make it right; positively wrong, though. :Dv

What is the point of hardware keyboards in this era of brilliant hardware keyboards like swiftkey and swype. I mean so much weight space can be saved for no loss.

Agreed. I also use the Xperia Pro and its a shame that there are not so many qwerty sliders anymore, especially GSM ones.

What is it with Samsung and Moto only releasing sliders locked to sh1tty US networks like this?
As an Xperia Pro user, I can attest that sliders are vastly superior to any touch-only device. Superior typing and in lanscape it is so much more comfortable to have an unobstructed screen.
Xperia Pro, still the greatest globally available phone on earth! Can't wait for Sony's successor.

Good to see REAL phones coming back on the market.
I Hate those lame azz slabs iphone copies. I need a qwerty because I actually care about enjoying the use of my phone, and actually getting stuff done, (since i was forced to get a slab from lack of qwerty my texting has gone down to about 20%, I no longer enjoy texting so I only do it when I really have to) it's the reason I use android in the first place.
If i wanted an iphone i would get one. I cant wait till iphone comes out with a keyboard an says "It's the latest innovation" to see all the isheep and a-wannabe-sheep clammer to get one.
So f-ing pathetic!
