AnonD-8044, 17 Jun 2012I think people will use another service other than Dropbox,... moreNot necessarily people will use a different service for cloud storage than Dropbox. Dropbox is actually rather good in comparison against the current competitors. I'm just a bit surprised that Google was late here and launched it's Google Drive so late. I believe Google could do it's magic, because they make very good cloud products, however, at the moment Dropbox is way better, but let's wait and watch Google Drive (It also has more free space for the start). Anyone else? iCloud? iCloud would be a joke since it only supports Apple products so it basically ignores the main reason why we need cloud storage...

m86k, 18 Jun 2012I don't know if it's same for everyone. But that 50gb dropb... moreI got my 50 GB without problems. I previously had a Dropbox account, so I only needed to add my Dropbox account to SGS3 app. I got an email with the space increase. Why don't you email Samsung or Dropbox letting them know about it ?

I don't know if it's same for everyone. But that 50gb dropbox feature offer is a false ad.

I got a european S3, and i didn't get 50gb dropbox : you start by creating your account from the phone, you get 2gb. Then thanks to S3, you have to complete 5 steps to get the 48gb left (installing the app on a computer/other device, sharing a folder on your account, sending invitations to friends emails, and i can't remember what else..).
I didn't agree to all those force steps so i gave up.

This truth should be really said on sites just like the impossibility to use an external SD card for installing apps (which is possible on previous SGS).

The phone is great but too bad that sites aren't doing their job, criticize what is wrong.
Samsung has to do something, really.

Thats great that they are trying to get Canadians to "Lease" their phone storage space instead of using that same money to "OWN" an SD card.

Thanks but no thanks cloud storage.

I think people will use another service other than Dropbox,i am..When the 2 years are up you either pay or have to transfer all your stuff to another service...Thinking ahead 2 years is a long time and a lot of uploads...I reckon when the time comes to pay up most will not want to pay or will have found another FREE service.
