ICS is better and faster on Active than gingerbreab. Just do a factory data reset after upgrading to ICS and you have speed!

lover, 19 Jun 2012well said!! samsung sounds just like that :)LOL
Korean blind fanboy should notice this!
Yes their technologies good enough, but they dun have a character or build a tough quality
                        Cheap phone. Plastic phone, etc
                        What else?
                        Oh yeah just another copycat
Dun get me wrong, im using SGS2 n fairly i must say it designed or inspired by apple
The most thing i like from samsung is their screen
Just think bout it: apple didnt even sueing sony or nokia when they still got popularity, specially nokia on 2007-2008 era
First iphone on 2007 was so popular among its controversy
But nokia still on top with their symbian flagship such as nokia nseries
Fyi, previous years before iphone 1st gen born, steve jobs actually a lil bit afraid that smartphone like nokia could drowning apple's market with its ipod, thats why he created an iphone
Did apple ever sueing nokia before? No
Or sueing sony because its vaio stealing idea from mac? No
                        So, why now samsung?
Dun say bcause samsung is the biggest rival, before 2010 with GS1 , samsung is nothing but nokaia. And once again, did apple ever battled with nokia as the market leader?
Sorry, not trying to bashing or whatever
Just buy a product base on ur need, dun not be a fanboy
                        Be objective
This is just phones company, not a soccer club

Ics looks alike on GS1 is just pretty gimmick
Yes it brought ics feature but however u cant deny it's not OFFICIALLY or AUTHORIZED ics from google
Even the beta version of ics in xda called ics though
So, what is the name for 'hybrid ics' on GS1?
                          Still gingerbread right?
Please shut up ur nasty laugh now
                          Thank you Mr. SuperClever

Samsung Galaxy S should've come with Froyo preinstalled on release date!
SGS release date: June 26, 2010
Froyo release date: May 20, 2010 (36 days before SGS1 release)
ICS release date: October 19, 2011 (16 months after SGS1 release)
Manufacturers (incl. Samsung) signed that they will maintain a 18-month support for their devices! And that was apparently a lie!
By comparing Xperia Active and Galaxy S RAW specs, SGS1 owners should be entitled to a ICS upgrade.
It's in the timeframe and meets the minimum specifications (512MB RAM).
While on the other hand Xperia X10 doesn't meet the minimum requirements (384MB RAM) and isn't in the timeframe (19 months).

The only thing that is true is that I don't really need ICS just yet, because there are only few apps that need it (Chrome,...).
