ZTE & Huawei technologies are just Chinese companies there software more so on the Chinese side the main reasons the us doesn't like them much is because of lack of us built-in backdoors/spyware the us does a lot of surveillance another reason is there strong competition in the market for us brands like apple iPhone which the us is so proud of yet only 6gb ram is just sad for a $1000 plus phone
The us is also rather restricted in the way they allow any Chinese companies too use us designed technologies and Tsmc it's unfortunate this kind of gate keeping is being done by the us it's basically handlecapping the competition or not allowing them too make the hardware & software how they really want it too be as a byproduct this hurts the consumer as the us is holding everyone else back and price fixing the market too keep pricing high and core's too a limited number and speed that all Chinese companies have too follows such strict standards for there own devices
Am sure it's possible Chinese brands can be a security problem as they could interfere with us networks but it's us security problem more so than the customer problem

2. The U.S. does not have to prove anything. It is classified information and they are not going to compromise their sources for you, myself or anyone else to debate on message boards.
I don't ever recall one person arguing about the manufacturer responsible for their cell provider's 4g tech. Not one person. This is a argument mainly by Huawei fans and nationalist. Average Americans don't care about Huawei or this finding. When I get stuck on the train (which is more times than not), I don't blame the U.S. government for not building an infrastructure to import bullet trains from China. I blame the MTA. It will be years before the average American knows the difference between what Huawei offers vs. 5g tech from Ericsson or Nokia.
