        It could be more slim but the aspect ratio is good. I want it to be global.

          (spelling errors corrected in previous post.)

          There have been several market research surveys from various phone-makers on various forums regarding large-screen phones (7"+) and small-screen phones (near 6"). Being an avid user of larger-screen phones myself, I am putting out my imagined Honor Hote20 and Mate40X below, just as a reference record for myself.

          My imagined Honor Note 20 (near flagship):
          - SoC: Kirin990 or Kirin985;
          - 7.2" AMOLED, FHD or higher, 18.5:9 ratio, or 19:9 ratio. (Relatively indifferent towards: flat-screen or curved-screen, 60Hz vs high-refresh-rate, FHD vs 2K.)
          - Real symmetric stereo speakers. (Top speaker is separated from the ear-piece.)
          - A good camera setup: 40MP IMX600(RYYB) main camera or better, periscope 5x optical zoom, or better.
          - NFC, all essential sensors, a dedicated security chip (a new feature with growing popularity).
          - large battery with wireless charging.
          - premium build quality (no plastics). (Indifferent towards IP rating.)
          - Expected price to pay: $500-$600.

          My imagined Mate 40X (flagship):
          - SoC: Kirin1020;
          - 7.2" AMOLED, FHD or higher, 18.5:9 ratio, or 19:9 ratio. (Relatively indifferent towards: flat-screen or curved-screen, 60Hz vs high-refresh-rate, FHD vs 2K.)
          - Real symmetric stereo speakers. (Top speaker is separated from the ear-piece.)
          - leading camera setup: main camera with free-form lens, 50MP IMX700(RYYB) or better; periscope 5x optical zoom (with RYYB sensor), or better. plus other class-leading supporting cameras. Improved video performance (with high video output bitrate, don't care about the high video output frame-rate).
          - NFC, all essential sensors, a dedicated security chip (a new feature with growing popularity).
          - premium build quality.
          - large battery with fast wireless charging.
          - improved M-pen.
          - Expected price to pay:
          -- $1200.
          -- $1600+, for improved camera setup: 10x optical zoom, dedicated video camera with free-form lens. Native support for new video codecs beyond H264, H265.

                    With its low pricing and limited feature set, this phone has intentionally left the door ajar, for the forthcoming "Honor Note 20" (near flagship) and "Mate 40X" (flagship).

                    Good news for millions of users of Mate 20X, which was considered the greatest smartphone ever produced by many of its owners.

                      For buyers who are looking for a 2020 smartphone with 7"+ screen, there is no competition in the current market.

                      Note: "Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro" (7.1" AMOLED screen) is not a general-purpose phone and is in a much higher price-bracket ($700-$800).

                        What a BIIG disappointment

                        And here we were anticipating it as a successor to Mate 20x

                            My freaking worst moment is the Honor X10 Max 5G, it's the worst king-sized smartphone on 2020s.

                              This phone will sell well, given the brand recognition, the uncommonly seen larger 7"+ screen (accompanied by unusually high quality symmetric stereo speakers), a competent D800 SoC with integrated 5G, and super low price.

                              The 'weaker' points are:
                              * Not a AMOLED screen;
                              * Some buyers may complain that D800 is not as powerful as D1000+ or SD865.

                              Note: D800 is a not a weak SoC even by 2020 standard (Antutu v8: 320000).

                                        I love Big phones, yet many things are done not to my liking:

                                        No Google play store
                                        Cameras are low quality
                                        5g

                                        I also would prefer a pop up selfie camera, yet this is a minor improvement, I also could arrange with it when other parts are done well.
                                        Thanks for the LCD Display though 👍
