I am a xiaomi fanboy but I like oneplus and huawei not Samsung , huawei have some amazing midranges

I thought this is going to be an other windows mobile scenario, but I was wrong. The App gallery is growing so fast, they're not only focusing on famous apps but also local services and apps, if they manage to bring just half of the apps on the wish list, they'd be doing much better than expected. And add to this the huge improvement in performance and software optimisation compared to older emui versions. If they manage to keep it up, in 2 or 3 years, the reason why many people are afraid to go for their devices now will become the main reason to encourage them to buy them.

What Huawei is good at:
- Auto mode on camera is very good to handle a lot of situations including pitch black
-Best Zooming capabilities
-Legendary Battery Life with very fast charging speeds
-Good Design colors (except p40 pro plus)
-Phone size isn't that Big like Note 10, S20 Ultra, Iphone 11 Pro Max, Oneplus 8 Pro
-Prices never higher than $1400 except for Porsche phones
-Best in class Connection (Wi-Fi, Mobile, SIM, 5G,etc..)
-Good Build Quality on devices
What is bad and can be improved :
-No GMS, HMS not yet competitive, (but is is growing everyday)
-EMUI is still not Oneplus, Google, Samsung software level and needs tuning (Better than previous, though.)
- Don't have a wide selfie camera, (not in photos, but in videos when it crops to stabilize it)
-Ultrawide Camera not wide enough, but very high quality, but still, Ultrawide means to fit a lot in
-Color on photos and videos can be inconsistent
-Videos are good, not Samsung/Iphone level
-Kirin chips are very Smart (best AI), but not as powerful as Snapdragons and Apple's chip
-No Stereo Speakers
-Only sticks to 8 GB RAM ( enough, but not if you use if for 3 years and more)

They want to be like Apple but can&#... moreAnd also, Xiaomi uses the 108 Mp sensor like the s20 ultra, but the sensor has far better details clarity and does not have the Autofocus problems the S20 Ultra had. It means Samsung is not good at software processing. Huawei's Night shot is the best. Why?
Because at just auto mode, you can use it at pitch black, or any scene. Meanwhile others need a night mode to do so. Samsung needs to improve its Computational Photography capabilities. Even in daylight, the skin smoothing is so noticeable

The sensor is just too small, and they make a better display for other companies. Oneplus uses Samsung made 10 bit 120hz display, while Samsung uses only 8 bit 120hz display that can't go on QHD+ on 120hz at s20 series. Dissapointing.

Like : MicroSD slot, stereo speakers, vibration motor, computational photography consistency, oil painting like photos, weird colour on photos, EMUI is bad
But now, almost all are good, and given theor situation, i appreciate their effort of fighting against it and building their ecosystem.
Good luck, keep trying and pushing the industry forward Huawei. We need you to push those lazy Apple, Samsung amd Google to work!

I don't think it so fair what is happen... moreHuawei outdone their own expectations. 3 years prior to the Mate 20 Pro, Huawei was a brand people in the UK heard of but didn't know much off then when the Mate 20 Pro, P20 series came out, the west went wild. That triple back camera on the Mate 20 Pro, the first major flagship to have an inbuilt in-display fingerprint, your phone acts like a power bank and can charge other phones that support wireless charging. To overcome Apple and become the 2nd largest Smartphone company, (I mean it does help that Huawei was always big in their home country and was always big in parts of Africa)but still an achievement for them and tbh if there was no Google ban confidently I can say they'd overtake Samsung by now.
Huawei and Honor were onto something, as the Honor 20 Pro, for example, a £550 phone that the camera is now rated 9 points below the s20 ultra and look how much that costs. I think once Huawei develop an app that is secured and banks support it (like Google Pay) Huawei once again will be onto something,
