Why does Xiaomi always has to use extremely underpowered chipsets for their AndroidTV devices? The performance is subpar to Samsungs or LGs interface mainly due to the slow SoC. AndroidTV is awesome with more powerful chips like Philips uses.

Is it possible to put a Snapdragon 865 or 8cx on TVs?
Or is that too powerful for something like a TV?

Interesting how none of the photos show the TV wall-mounted. Actually, quite concerning. Can it be wall-mounted?

Yeah, too close in price to LG and Sony, both of which would be my first choices by a long shot, based on my experience with Xiaomi support and software.

Just another Xi Pimping’s spyware gadget.

While 120 Hz sounds great and all, but this audio stuff cracked me up. ".. plus a 20W 50 Hz ultra-low frequency subwoofer" - come on. 20 Hz and below that is what a real subwoofer does. 20 Hz minimum to be qualified as a "subwoofer", otherwise it's just a... Mistake. I know it's just a TV so it could never sound ACTUALLY good since the speaker size and enclosure sizing is heavily limited... Why even advertise that "subwoofer"?

Quite impressive for these new comers...but looks need to match performance, hope they deliver.Pricing will greatly matter considering what you get with Sony 900-950 series at this price range.
