You have a little bit mistake to read Samsung models. A series is low (A0x ~ A2x) to mid level (A3x ~ A9x). M series is also low to mid level but only sell through e-commerce/online shop

It only started getting higher with the note 9 having 4000 mah battery. But yeah, they knew the target market will still. Buy the s and note series for reasons other than battery. Thank them for increasing it since note 9.
On the other hand, budget and midrange is much more competitive with chinese brands offering more value for money. They needed to have a very distinct differentiating factor (Aside from their awesome display hardware) to attract buyers as some chinese brands even offer 5000 mah battery in budget market like realme and xiaomi.

That's my point and budget series usually have hd only not fhd. And yeah it should improve battery life as well.
I mentioned both budget series and battery life in my comment that you quoted. Don't pick only what you want to hear.

Big battery is nice but from what I have heard from users of the A51 the battery life isn't as good as what they expected.

I wonder how many Watt the battery charging rate would be. If it's less than 30W, it must be a nightmare for charge time.

Alright now, the Exynos 9611 is not at par with the competition and the 990 may be a bit slower than the SD 865, but that doesn't make all Exynos complete shit. The 990 and SD 865's difference is what 95% of customers won't even care in the real world. Also Exynos have always been neck-to-neck with Snapdragon in the previous years. When the Snapdragon 810 throttled and heated, the Exynos 7420 performed at par with no heat issues, so they all have a bad year.
Anyway, this phone or the similar M51 will come with a Snapdragon 730 (https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-m51-snapdragon-730-8gb-ram-geekbench/).
And if not for OEMs like Samsung pushing the battery limits, Apple wouldn't have gone to 3000mAh, people would still be suffering with 1800 mAh batteries.
Chinese phone lovers like Mr. Pong have lost all reason and are only after bashing other brands.

Chinese brands now actually listen to their customers, 2019-2020 is a great time to buy phones from Oppo, Realme, Xiaomi and Huawei too if they didn't have gapps issue
Build Quality
Samsung A71 is plastic back with GG3 front, same as Realme 5 series.
Cost (in PKR): A71 = 67000, Realme 5 series (23000 for 5i -37000 for the pro version)
Oppo Reno 2 with 256gig costs 67000 with GG6 front, GG5 back and aluminum frame
Performance:
Redmi note 8 pro (g90t) and note 9s (SD720G) costs 38000, Redmi note 9 pro(GG5 build) costs 42000 and Mi note 10 lite (with Amoled display) 56000
Software Updates: All mentioned brands running latest OS and Latest Security patches on their 2019-2020 phones
If these brands can Sustain their strategy for a few years, Samsung may become irrelevant in entry level and midrange market
Samsung's response: lets pair a beefy battery with weak specs, overcharge for brand value and call it a day.

E7904 to E9611 for M20 to M21,
and E9611 to E980 for A51 4G to A51 5G,
so not all phones are underpowered or have reused specs. You just gotta know where to look.

People who wants Samsung to ditch their Exyno... moreIt's not real competition if you can't offer the same value, we're not asking them to ditch the exynos but make a new and better soc instead of using the same 9611 for the gazillion'th time. Also ask them why they're software is better optimised for the sd and not their own chip set, the a70 offered a smoother experience than the m31 or the a51 even though the processors are close on paper (I'm not talking about gaming).
