Nope not solved, customer care will acknowledge the problem and they will give you an option for just screen replacement that is the SO action going in all service center it seems got this info from one of my friend in service center .
Even I am facing the issue finally got tied of writing mails and running around service center..
I don't know from where this random people com in and attacks you in the comment that there calming there's no display issue are we are falsely saying it.
there are many proof on the issue with display in OP community

You are lucky if your phone does not have it but it doesn't mean others are not facing this issue. I got the phone replaced but still the same issue. All my friends who bought the phone saw serious black crush issue and had to return.

I brought OnePlus in Sep 2020. My phone has black crush, horizontal bar on top and green tint issues. I got the replacement and it still has the issues. My friend also bought same phone and he is also facing the issue.
One Plus doesn't want to acknowledge all these as hardware issues. If it was a software issue, they would have released the fix. I really started to rethink my trust on OnePlus before buying another phone from them.

And then I got a replacement device on 11th and the display issue still persists. Its that horizontal line clearly visible on lower brightness and also facing some sort of screen retention issue. I've returned my Oneplus 8 Pro and will wait for 8t Pro.

IPhone pro Max using Samsung Oled.
S20 using Samsung Oled.
ROG 2 using Samsung Oled.
All have some tint issue.
They simply increase the levels of brightness and don't allow the user to go below certain nits.
Which means even when the brightness slider is at lowest levels, the amount of nits is high enough to not show those issues.
Find X2 pro using same panel. Why they didn't have an issue?

You Are Right On The Iphone And Samsung Issues But There Are Some Points To Consider;
# Green Tint On Iphone Was Mainly Due To Software Issues. Users Reported These Issues After Updating To IOS 13.4.1 So It's Clear That It's A Software Error.
# In Case Of Samsung The Company Acknowledged It And Even Introduced A Software Update That Got Rid Of The Green Tint In Almost All Users. Also Not That S20 Suffered Only Green Tint Issue And Unlike OP8 Pro It Didn't Have Much Black Crush Or The Dark Horizontal Line On The Hole Punch Camera.
Clearly You Can See OP8 Pro Has Some Display Issues Even It Is Compared To The Samsung S20. I Don't Why People Chose To See It Like It Does Not Exist But Let's Face It; It Does Have Problems!

Some People Chose To Ignore This Beacuse They Had Paid Such A Hefty Amount For It. I'm Not Lying My Friend It's Just That Reality Can Sometimes Be Harsh On You! And If You Still Won't Believe Me Just Open Amazon India And See The Pictures Of Customers Who Bought The Phone. Atleast That Would Shed Some Light On You.

Maybe the earlier batches had a problem.
Besides these tint issues happen at extremely low brightness levels.
Levels most people, even enthusiasts don't operate their phones at.
Similar tint issues also present on iPhone 11 pro Max, S20 ultra, ROG 2.
Oppo Find X2 Pro has same display yet none of the users seem to be affected.

Almost All People Nowadays End Their Day By Looking Into Their Smartphones So It's Obvious To A Night User Who Uses His/Her Phone Under A Low Brightness To Notice The Issue Validly. What Oneplus Did With The Software Update Was They Just Increased The Minimal/Lowest Brightness That's Possible So That People Don't Notice The Issue Anymore. I'm A Great Fan Of Dark Mode So It's A Bit Skeptical For Me To Pay Such A Premium Amount For Such A Premium Device That Comes With Such Issues. I Hope They Fix It For The Upcoming Batches!

Besides, these issues were fixed with updates.
You won't notice these issues unless you root your phone and deliberately lower brightness way below standard levels.

And second if you haven't seen speed test go and watch yourself. Even Poco F2 Pro is faster and has 8K video recording. And Xiaomi isn't cheap anymore.
