Gulu said, a phone is quite different from a compter. Well, if that's true, you can ask them, you want to change your WP7 to the WP8 with some decent price!

blueglue, 21 Jun 2012Honestly, for a moment rest aside your love for the brand. ... moreMeego wasn't laggy, actually it was smoother than dualcore Androids. The reason why it was sold in small numbers is that Elop deliberately limited it to certain countries (mostly smaller markets), Nokia made no marketing push for it, and most importantly, since he officialy killed MeeGo, and confirmed that N9 will be the last MeeGo handset, only the hardcore fans bought it.

                @all WP7 USERS........."WP8 APPS ON WP7"

well the launch of wp8 disappointed many current and future customers (like me) that wanted to buy a wp7.I was just to own a Lumia 900,800 and Omnia W for me,my bro n my dad,but the release held my breath n disappointed us.The reason behind it is the only thing "NOW NO NEW APPS FOR WP7 BECAUSE THE LATEST ONE WILL BE TARGETED FOR WP8 ONLY" eventually screen resolution, nfc, wallet, dual core isnt bothering us because they are of very much use in this buttery smooth OS (as of now).
The main thing is APPS FOR WP7 so i think we have to raise our voice to MS that please create apps for wp7 too that is made for wp8 (not all apps can be made but i think many of them can be) because WP7 AND WP8 have become a different platform now.If apps are continuously made for wp7 then i think there should be no problem for current users and futures users as well because if someone wants a new hardware at higher prices then he can switch to new wp8 phones but those who are using wp7 and those who are ready to buy wp7 at current prices with the same sufficient hardware then thay will be pretty happy too.

So please gsmarena help us to raise our voice to MICROSOFT.

very good idea by MS. Now ALL windows software can be easily be ported to all platforms(from PC,to tablet. or to phone). There is no limit virtualy.

Microsoft is a prostitute who dont mind sharing any bed for its living..when nokia have put its full faith in MS as its future os .. MS is cleverly blinding nokia and creeping into evry possible hardware brands..
                                  ..
Since google acquired motorola ,its arc rival MS became restless and planned to go after nokia..appoited Elope (ex-MS employee) as nokia ceo and now playing cards well to bring down nokia to its knees...to hav a good reason to acquire a loss making cmpany..
Sack the spy Ceo elop first..and nokia come out and launch 3 "android nokia" phones ..just 3 only ..
                                  1..an entry level similar to
                                  galaxy y or nokia 500
2..a mid ranger similar to sammy ace or nokia 703
3..a hi end similar to the features of good old nokia n8 and looks of a lumia..
Just 3 of this can do wonders for nokia profits ..thus The so called FANDROIDS wil finally realise what was really missing in their hardware..keep the present and upcoming widows lumias just like what sammy and htc doing with their omnias and titans..
Nokia can later develop their meemo nd symbian as its future OS and replace android ..
MS is a vampire sucking thE last drops of blood from nokia -once a reputed company ,now slowly makin its way to garbage(RECYCLE BIN for microsoft)..
If there exists a huge demand .. Large number of people waiting for android in nokia..why they cant just do that...please shed your thoughts on this..

Meego was laggy, i repeat WAS laggy. (that implies at the time it was released, i honestly donot know how its functioning now after the recent update).

Meego was smooth, intuitive , praised by Critics, admired by fans. every one says Meego is good, i wonder if thats so good, it would have taken the smartphone segment by storm. Where are the sales figures? where is the support? give a thought.

Pureview is good technology - it keeps the supporters happy. is that enough to put the nokia on track?
