Real.Talk, 13 Jul 20202 years ago means you played between season 1-3 which also ... moreI can't reply to the whole message now, will do later but right now I wanna say one thing: I did not say lives are wasted just like that *poof* if you play one game of fortnite, let's say 2 per day, but if you play 20 per day, everyday, the same thing, nothing different, that's definetley a wasted day. I got nothing against games, haha I can call myself a gamer, having like 2000h on my steam account. I agree, playing team fortress for 500 hours is quite like fortnite, but at least there are diferrent maps, you can get guns that help etc.
Playing hundreds of games, like what I did, having a wide selection is definetley better than playing the same thing over and over and over again. That's truly entertaining.

Andreidinutu, 13 Jul 2020Easy. 2 years ago I wasted 20 mins of my life playing that ... more2 years ago means you played between season 1-3 which also means the game was at its infancy with plenty of glitches and hackers were widely present and that might be why you had the situation you had.
Even though you may think that was unfair, I've been shot in the air many times as well and that also frustrated me a lot but it should be common sense that many variables take place at any given moment during game-play despite the disadvantage and elimination you experienced. Connection quality, PC performance and ultimately your skills + reflex play the most significant role in the game determining your victory.
Regarding the wasted lives and money :
Lives:
People playing games for entertainment automatically results in a wasted life?
Contrary to your statement gaming has many reflex, focus, thinking and problem solving techniques involved which transfer into real life benefits which many say are actually effective though how many lives are aborted every day and not a peep is said about that?
Money:
People spending money on a game and someone says that is a waste when we have gambling, investments and other fun stuff wasting our money lol.
I could say buying food is a waste because there's plenty of perfectly good food that's wasted in stores all around the world and the cherry on top is that you can get a lot of food from food banks for free.

Real.Talk, 12 Jul 2020Another one of you, how did fortnite harm you?Easy. 2 years ago I wasted 20 mins of my life playing that game. I got a minigun, golf cart and missle launcher. When there were 5 left, I went into the safezone and someone shot me and it launched me like a rocket into the air, I exited the golf cart out of panic mid-air, when that guy killed me right there in the air.
Also all the money spent into it are wasted, being only cosmetic and kids are wasting money and their lives playing the same thing over and over and over again.

LG make some of the best TVs you can get but their phone division sucks. Lenovo makes some pretty good laptops yet their phones suck. Just because it's the same company doesn't mean everything is run the same way

Until Sony come up with their own equivalent of that feature, I won't be going back to PlayStation despite missing Gran Turismo and Persona franchise.

Sony makes a game console, invests in a game engine company. Kinda make sense. You invest in somebody who create content for your own platform.

Sony never did care for crossplatform and always was trying to make the life as difficult as possible for any developer that tried to crossplatform their game.
This, most likely, has nothing to do with Fortnite, they probably are trying to get more sweet optimalization out of the UT engine so they can soon have their PR billboards claiming X game looks better on PS compared to Xbox.

It can be pretty interesting but nothing of that will beat GTA and Borderlands series to be honest.
Also doom eternal probabbly the best first person shooter game of this year and maybe the best ever create beating even the legendary counterstrike and half life or games such as Quake and Unreal Tournament.
