T series (tablets) are not aimed for any groundbreaking features or design, just to get the basic stuff done for kids and low perf work and ent.

My current one has 4GB and also doesn't kill apps all the time (using it for Netflix and school stuff, most of the time using between 2 and 3 GB). I think 3 is enough if you don't run heavy apps on a budget tab (it isnt even possible because of the chip set), but 2 is only enough if you use one app (or maybe 2) at a time or running android go. 8GB is overkill for most users

              Manufacturers really thinking these tablets are only for media purposes. I have Samsung Tab A 2019 with only 2Gb RAM which kills every app once you move to home and come back seeing it killed. I am not fan of higher RAM like 6, 8 or 12GBs but atleast 3-4GB should be bare minimum to use apps like browser (with few tabs).

                Rubbish design for 2020.

                  Could be alternative to fire tablet, may be hard though as amazon got its price 160 euro if not cheaper.
