Sure, these fellas aren't perfect and there definitely are some challenges and occasional cultural hurdles of 'sloth', but nothing too different from doing business with China. In fact, its even a little easier.
I strongly refute your claim that this is propaganda. In fact, I wonder if this isn't reverse propaganda from your side for whatever reason...?

No matter what this is a great news and I hope more manufacturing moves to India, Thailand, Vietnam etc. Diversification is great and creates a more dependable market. Everyone by now realises the danger of dealing with a Communist china where people don't even have a right to free speech. Kudos to foxconn and apple steer away of this ccp

It's a legit tactic to use imo if you want other countries to set up factories in your country and develop your country's manufacturing capabilities. And the Indian market is quite lucrative.

But yeah I think they should start to move out of china but i don't think it makes sense for international reason, it makes sense for India but doesn't really make sense for the US/Europe markets, where it doesn't really matter where the devices are manufactured, but that may change for US.

Iphone Xr is the only iphone in india which comes... moreFYI, iPhone 11 priced cheaper than XR when it launched and I actually bought it from off line stores for a even better deal. Price wise advantages may not be much as far as iPhones are concerned. May be older generation mobiles manufactured could be offered as cheaper purely based on perception than actual value.
