iQoo done. Vivo done.
Waiting for Realme to announce "India's first 100+W charging" and disappear from the scene till 7 brands release and sell them. 🤭

Yeah act like the chemistry of lithium ion is the only consideration did you even read about all the contingencies with graphene and other structural changes??

Or are we well knowledgeable with graphene implementation as human beings

Knowing chemistry is one thing but I would argue we are NOT experienced with this IMPLEMENTATION

And as usual just like most university students with degrees everyone can regurgitate facts but have no ability to solve problems and understand APPLICATION of knowledge

People like you have no understanding of how modern day ultra fast charging works.

IpsDisplay, 13 Jul 2020Take a look at all the nay sayers people I remember in t... moreYou're comparing technologies which people had no understanding of to technologies we know very well by now (lithium batteries). It's a fact lithium batteries can't accept 7.5C charge rate without massive degradation.

Take a look at all the nay sayers people

I remember in the history book:

The airplane "only birds should fly, it's too dangerous"

The car. "Horses are better humans aren't meant to go that fast"

Electricity "bad idea it's going to cause mass electrocutions"

And now the ultra fast charging battery " the battery is gonna be destroyed"

Lol the same old fear mongering narrative from people with closed short sighted minds

Watch these fools get forced to accept ultra fast charging in their devices in the future looool

The battery is still rated at a nominal 3.7V, yet it is exposed to 12V potential for the duration of charging. Of course they want you to buy a new phone every year.

so if manufactures saw the pool where people are changing their phone every 3 years, they figured out a method to make us change it every year. Ultra fast charging with ultra fast battery degradation . I would use a 20-30w charger on a daily basis and use an ultra fast charger only when i'm in a rush or on vacantion.

I don't get those that are complaining about this. Just charge it at 10W or 5W and stop hating it just because some of us want to charge it in 15 min. When will you understand that batteries are consumables and should be replaced every 1-2 years?

I prefer a big battery around 5000mAh and a 3A/4Ax6V 18W/24W charger. BTW, do you know why the chargers don't use 6V, you will find 5/9/12/20 V but no 6V! why? what's wrong with 6V?

So i wake up in the morning and ask my son to plug my phone then count 1 to 10. And he goes 1,2,3,4,5,6, oh, dad your phone's ready!

                            WOW! This is huge!!!😳

Even assuming fast charging is safe and doesn't affect battery longevity, such tech needs way more safety nets to keep the phone internals safe and cool. Safety nets that occupy space and add complications, weight, size and bulk to a phone. Would rather have 1000 or St more additional mah in that space, 4 to 6 hours trickle charging through the night and simpler internals than going 0 to 100 in 15 or even 5 minutes.
