What's the point of the 4a now?
No one owning a 3a would see this as an upgrade.

Yeah wow accidents so they can make some noise with the tech websites, besides wtf in October!! It will be extra dated unless they update the chip and add 5G connectivity.

It is not about what they CANNOT DO, it is just about what they WANT TO.
They never care about people who buy their devices

I accidentally showed my bank account to the council of phone manufacturers.

it's funny when they say 'accidentally show off'.

For a single camera and flash setup that big square block of glass is totally unneeded and will be prone to breaking upon accidental drops and other instances. Those should have been made flush with the phone chassis, it also looks more elegant that why! Cheap tactics, just so the 4a camera setup resembles the standard pixel 4's.

Beautiful design. This is the phone to have in 2020. Stock Android. The usual stonking Google optics. Beautiful clean build.

                  Who needs a 1000 USD + phone?

While I appreciate the fact that they're using a single rear camera (unlike the low chinese brands having to put garbage ultrawide and useless macro/depth sensors just so they can fill up the slots for marketing), I don't understand why it needs to be in such a large module - the bigger the glass, the more prone to breaking it is...

Google always "accidentally" leak news of their phones at least six months before release and they keep "accidentally" leaking until the whole phone is revealed about a week before release. It's a shame I'm not really interested. Weak overpriced hardware, poor battery life with the single rear main camera its only saving grace.

                        3,000mAh kills this phone.
If Samsung managed to squeeze in a 4,000mAh battery inside the Galaxy S20, which has the same dimensions as the Pixel 3a, so can Google.

This device is DWA ( Dead without arrival ).. Lol

It'll be at least somewhat worth it, the delay i mean, if they release it with 765 instead of 730.

Provide punch hole camera. Actively try to hide it. Why brands?

Just a new fart from Google. Google releases phones just for testing with all their apps.

                                  This is so messed up.

Really interesting option for the US market. Unfortunately not for the rest of the world. In EU probably it will be 450-500 Euro, which is double the price of Mi 9 SE or Mi 9t.

                                      Release it already, please.

Finally just one camera on a square setup. Just what I want. A mediatek chipset would be great
