Better come up with compact 10000mAH battery that fits regular phone. Fast charging is nice but everything below hours is just useless gimmick to brag about.

How about wireless charging xiaomi, I don't want my phone to explode with 100watt charging. China is full of add on aftermarket coils, and these chinese brands can't put one in a damn phone?

65 or 100 watt would be needed for laptops/Chromebooks, for mobile an 18w is fine for most. All manufacturers need to embrace Universal PD (power delivery) instead of going properties tech.
Just wondering why on earth do they still use USB A port on chargers when there's USB C..!

In as much as I don't really buy the idea of 'triple digit watts charging' it's still a welcomed improvement.
Even if technology is good and reliable, they try as much as possible to push boundaries and make it even better.
So it's a win-win at the end.

Have 18W charger on my HTC 10, I never charge over night, still don't feel like I'd need faster charging.
With all these chinese companies rushing to the race of triple digit watt charging (which I personally find completely useless), I feel like fire departments worldwide will be really busy once these chargers start rolling out...
