saddameu, 14 Jul 20205g is already overkill for a phone, the extra battery drain... moreWow, a guy that doesn't like progress. Who'd have guessed?

greenarcher02, 15 Jul 2020I appreciate the sentiment of moving technology forward, bu... morethe rollout is probably slower because of the shorter range of 5G, more towers are needed, that is purely a limitation of the current tech, that being said 4G didnt exactly race off the lines either, my town, in the UK has only had 4G for the past 12 months, and 4G was released 8 years ago, this is simply an extension of that, the costs are also way higher now as well, adoption will be slower for a lot of countries

oh dear, another tin pot clown, my 4G iPhone SE2 can download a movie in about 2 hours, my 5G galaxy note 10+ can download that same movie from the same site in under 5 minutes, still think 5g is useless? my devices say otherwise, 4g has reached its peak capacity, cant handle current gen date traffic, you clearly know nothing of the tech so should probably just zip it

saddameu, 14 Jul 20205g is already overkill for a phone, the extra battery drain... moreclueless and totally incorrect, the difference between 4G and 5G is big and is designed for the next decades increase of IOT and the increased high definition multimedia, along with better bandwith, less latency and more power effecient battery usage, I can tell you that when 4G arrived, all the tinpot people like you cited the same thing, and now that 4g has bottlenecked because of supply and demand we need to move forward, not backwards or sideways, my 4G iPhone SE2 can download a movie in about 2 hours, my 5G galaxy note 10+ can download that same movie in under 5 minutes, still think 5g is useless? my devices say otherwise

Anonymous, 14 Jul 2020In 2030 6G will be useful.you meant 5G right? because up until now 5G is not broadly available and where it is it has been proven to be a joke, not the speeds and latency advertised. I am all in for faster speeds but for the moment it will not happen, where I live they burned 5G sites because they give cancer, makes bill gates control you after you are vaccinated for covid19 and it makes you lose faith in god, so good luck with 6G.

Let Humanity Handle Corona ..first....in 2020....

I appreciate the sentiment of moving technology forward, but I can't help but feel skeptical about all this. We don't even have proper 5G, and even 4G fails a lot of times. But even the coverage of 5G in most countries is super limited. The Philippines was first in SEA, but the rollout has been slow. I guess it's a different matter in South Korea...

They missed a golden opportunity by not using the word "Blockchain". Only that word is missing from this PR world salad of a gas bag spin stunt.

As a 3D dev and artist who actually works with the content that this joke of a white paper is using as it's bread and butter...I'm cringing at how Samsung has framed all those double quote comments...there are so many better ways to put it without looking like a blowhard try to sell investors a bridge.

Why does technology develop so slow?

potato4k, 15 Jul 2020Holograms? LOL. What does that have anything to do with 6G?... moreDude we don't even have 100% coverage on cleaning running water worldwide

Hell we don't even 100% coverage for being able to read and write

Just let the technology exist so we can improve one it

Holograms? LOL. What does that have anything to do with 6G?
What a bunch of BS of throwing out techno mumbo jumbo.

We don't even have 100% coverage of 3G worldwide. Many regions in the world are still on 2G. Many carriers have not even adopted VoLTE, thus still relying on 3G/2G for voice.

I hope I live long enough to see this... it might bring on some interesting things.

By the way, can the humans find a way to develop some kind of just "1G peace" in the world or even "1G no poverty", it would be more amazing than the 6G for a lot more people, I guess

120Hz panel? Green tint issues, possible discoloration issue (OP8 Pro, based on Android Authority)

108MP camera with 100x zoom? Can't autofocus properly.

Galaxy Fold? Scratches at level 2 with deeper grooves at level 3.

And most importantly, Exynos. Exynos 990 can't match Helio G90T's performance. Very high power consumption under load as well (check MrWhoseTheBoss's S20 battery tests on YT). Don't complain if your battery health reduces to 90% for first year under constant use.

All of this comes with a hefty price tag. In several cases, more expensive than an iPhone.

So many Sh**psungs come to adore their unfinished product. In the Android world, Xiaomi will definitely push Samsung out soon. 😊

Yikes, manufacturer really can't take a seat for a while. We even not reach peak potential of 5G and the technology itself aren't evenly distributed even on remote areas and developing country.

Well, it would be interesting if we got a glimpse of what 6G capable of and form of technology used by 6G in the future.
