you better use youtube vanced and set your own defaults, long term solution, find a serious and less restrictive platform to upload and watch content

India was limited to max 480p till now (mobile devices), the rest of the world only defaulted to 480p and could increase the quality manually.

1. open vanced app
2. settings
3. vanced settings
4. tap “about” multiple times
5. codec override
6. over ride model
7. type “sm-t865”
8. restart app
boom 1080p/1440p available on mobile data 🔥

My Android TV not defaulting to lower resolution.
Comfortably Running 8k videos.
But I am using Smart YouTube, not the official YouTube app which is garbage.
