Honor Pad 6 seems a better buy for me. Just wonder how different r Kirin 710A & Kirin 710/F in term of performance.

          Lol at that price buy a phone it will have much better specs like Huawei's own Nova 7i which cost a few bucks less

            As a tablet lover, I am really sad that Kirin 710 is the best processor that any budget tablet gets while smartphones that cost 50% less come with better newer processors. You are right with the economics which is why I hope someone releases a tablet with novel features that can convince enough people to buy it. Or an addon tablet sized screen somewhat like the Asus padfone for their mainstream phones (with usb-c displayport alt specification that is quite possible)

If Honor sells some 100 000 phones in this price range, the price of components and construction gets lower than components and construction for 10 000 tablets of the same price.

                    This kind of tablet is targeting the ordinarily peopole who just want a tablet good enough for video streaming and occasional lite gaming of for their children. And for that ki d of consmer Software Updates are playing zero role when purchasing such a tablet. And for that money there are a ton of great higher spec older tablets on the market.
                    I guess the German retailers will give it as a free gift when purchasing a flagship smartphone, they love to do that kind of advertising.

                      Value may vary depending on real life performance and jack availability.

                        I will not buy a tablet for now, see no point in it. Really pricey for what it is...

                          Why are tablet specs so crappy, when compared to similarly priced phablets? OK, you have smaller components (screen, case, battery) in the phones, but it's too big of a discrepancy. Even entry-level phones now have dual cameras, with an absolute minimum of 8 MP, even on the front facing cam. I won't even mention the SoC.

                          I know that these are quite cheap tablets, but it's the same thing in all price brackets and with all companies.
