Snapdragon 865+, 16GB LPDDR5, and 1TB UFS 3.0 makes this stand out. If it has a headphone jack it's basically best gaming phone no competition.

      If you are asking how it's superior to iPhones, Can iOS run a variety of emulators? Can iOS output higher than 60hz? Can iPhone offer uncompromised network? Can iOS offer throttle free performance? Does iOS have the lowest screen latency? Does iOS support ultra fast charging to replenish your battery? Does iOS have a dedicated gaming mode? Does iOS have dedicated air triggers? Does iOS offer useful accessories like ROG 2? The answer to all of those questions is "No".

            Most games on mobile are not for prolonged use. If you need that, you should buy a console or a gaming PC.

                  I have an Asus rog 2 and I broke my screen ... Well there are no cracks on the screen but the display won't work .... I live in Dubai and I hope somebody helps me with the screen replacement process ....

Don't care about those millions, Apple is the one making money, not you or me. As long as Asus keeps making these superior phones "just for me", I'm more than glad to be paying less for more, not feeding a greedy American company, and having a phone that suits MY needs, not the "needs" of those millions of people :)

You can also choose a very badly optimized Snapdragon 865 and say Apple wins Android miles ahead, a little nitpicking I must say. Also, everyone keeps saying "iOS is the best, all of its games are optimized, unlike android", having an unoptimized game will ruin that "policy" and "status" of Apple. I don't have any trust in Android brands other than Asus, Samsung (Snapdragon version), Xiaomi, and might be Huawei,... And Sony, too. There's a video on Gizmochina showing that even with the same Snapdragon 865, OnePlus 8 Pro can unlock more framerate than the iooo Neo 3, some other videos show the same thing. So our only option is waiting for Asus Zenfone 7/7 Pro, it's made by Asus along with ROG Phone 3 so you can expect it will have its cousin level of optimization, or use Xperia 1 or 1 II to compare, whichever suits you.

                                    By the way if you want to compare gaming performance of a regular vs. gaming phone, that's unfair.

                                    We can say the Mate 30 wins because of its design and installation of heat pipe.

                                    What baffles me a bit is that iPhones perform rather very well in PUBG Mobile. iPhone 11 at HDR Extreme during recording showed almost to no frame drops, with good audio synchronization. Probably SGL is only optimised on Snapdragon CPU phones. I have already heard a Z-flip (SD855+) user from GSMArena and he mentioned that his phone gets very warm on gaming in COD Mobile.
