A sd720G would have made the samsung the new king in the segment. But Samsung is adamant as they were with the J Series, the biggest reason that allowed Chinese brands to settle in Southeast Asia.

The only upgrades that I've noticed so far in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M31s are faster 25W charging, In-display / side mounted Fingerprint Scanner (since rear mounted fingerprint scanner is not visible in the pictures), Single Take software feature & Punch hole Selfie Camera.
But the biggest con of the M series has always been its processors. I can't believe that Samsung is still gonna use the same old Exynos 9611 that they used on their previous gen M30s & M31. This is extremely disappointing! They should be using a competitive chipset like Snapdragon 712 at least (as it ain't possible to expect newer 720G, 730 or 730G on budget Samsung Phones) or maybe even a newly launched & improved Exynos chipset like how they provided an upgrade from Exynos 7904 on M30 to Exynos 9611 on M30s. I'm even willing to forgo the mediocre polycarbonate back as well, just for a capable processor. This is just plain unfair!

currently i have A50s and trust me Exynos 9611 (based on century old A73 and A53 and GPU is mali G72 MP3 which is 3 year old ) is very bad as compare to snapdragon 730G or 720G, this exynos proceesor has inconsistent performance, overheat, bad gaming experience especailly graphic intensive games like COD and PUBG have ton of frame drops.
In long term usuage i think a year or so, this going to mess even basic task.
