Already most of the reviewers pointed the price as $650 or more.
No doubt, such reviews are playing major role in the decline in LG mobile sales.

AnonD-492870, 22 Jul 2020There is no DAC in the velvet bud.DAC -> Digital to Analog Converter. It converts digital sound data into an analog signal. Without it, you wouldn't have sound at all in your phone (it's needed for the phone speakers and for 3.5mm jack).
It may not have the sophisticated Quad DAC from the Gx and Vxx LG Devices, which is a league of it's own. But it's still a high quality DAC in comparison to many other devices.

Don't you think it wil... moreIt does but not as much as some think.
But what is more important is that people compare the Velvet with Nord while the second screen accessory for the Velvet already fills the price gap.
But even then Nord has one purprose and that is to try make more peoe buy the more expensive OnePlus phones, it's same strategy like with the cheaper iPhone.
Velvet on the other hand is a premium semi mid-ranger, in fact the only thing that makes it a mid ranger is the non top of the notch SD Soc.
I am not trying to talk good about the LG, there is no reason to but people only look at the Soc and the price difference and in the end complain about LG being more expensive, there is more to that and people are too lazy to look furter than that.

Funny how people here even trying to compare the OnePlus Nord with the LG Velvet. But it is at least one category higher than Nord. This is what LG Velvet has in over the Nord:
IP68 rating, MIL-STD-810G, microSD slot, 3.5mm jack, high quality DAC, stereo speakers, wireless charging, aluminum frame (plastic on the Nord), Dual Display support, Stylus support, Desktop Support (similar to Samsung DeX), reverse USB charging, bigger battery, FM radio.
Nord over Velvet:
90Hz Display, 30W charging (25W on the Velvet), 2MP Macro camera, Dual Selfie camera on the front.

If that $600 price comes with the DualScreen case bundled together, this would be a seriously worthy premium midrange smartphone of 2020. Makes me wonder if I should even buy the V60 at all in the first place.
