Sure, also, of course they bought that crap, they are FORCED to if they want any possibility to connect the BILLIONS of compatible devices, ranging from crappy hearphones to professional equipment, audiophile grade headset, or even just my Corsair Void Pro.
The ONLY reason the Jack was removed was because Apple wanted to sell expensive adapters with it, and Android as usual followed without even thinking if it was a good idea or not.
And you are part of the person who justify crappy capitalism and anti consumer move, the truth is there is NOT A SINGLE justified point to remove the jack, the only exception would be to replace it with something like a flat magnetic connector.
Also, considering that most peoples would buy literally anything as long as it is popular and well promoted, including a phone without GSM nor Bluetooth, the "99%" sheep attitude doesn't matter, what does is the volume of peoples complaining, the worse something is, the most peoples complain about it, and you guess it, tons of peoples complain about the headphone jack missing, hell even the next comment after your did that, it prove the volume is high.
And 1% of the population is still 70 Millions peoples, that's the issue with democracy here, in a room with 3 men and 2 women, the 3 men can vote to rape the 2 women, does the bigger number really mean anything ?
It should ONLY being taking into account when it act as a positive-for-all thing, not in a many-doom-the-few context.
And except wanting the jack gone because you read someone else saying that, why do you want it gone ?
Literally, give me a SINGLE GOOD (meaning: valid and justified) reason to remove the port that have the MOST compatible devices that Smartphones ever had, which is also the ONLY analog port, and literally cost pennies to put on a phone.
Lets me guess, you haven't a single one except that YOU consider it to be obsolete or something stupid like that, and while it does literally NOTHING NEGATIVE to those who don't use it, wanting it to be removed, or worse, attacking/complaining about those who actively make their opinion matter and make the industry understand they don't want it gone, is the most selfish and egocentric crappy attitude one can have :
"I don't have a use of it, and I don't like it, so even though it change literally nothing for me if it is here or not, I want it gone even if tons of users still want and use it."

IMO the reason it's called Fan Edition is because it uses Snapdragon globally which has more fans than Exynos

They also plan to launch a 4G variant, so snapdragon 865 is no option because they pair it with a 5G chip. It will probably be exynos.
