It's showing 9% battery degradation after 800 cycles which is roughly 2-2.5yrs for the average user.
Don't believe these fast charging fear mongerers.

I love fast charging. For me, 65W or SuperVOOC Oppo charger is enough. The battery won't last for more than 2 years is fine for me. Usually medium salary people in my region would change a phone not more than 2 years of use.

Or go with Oneplus warp charge, keep phone cool instead of burning it up.

State of charge (or battery level) is only half of the consideration in terms of "stress". It is indeed true that Lithiums at 100% is susceptible to more stress but IF temps were controlled or kept low, you can keep your lithium battery at 100% indefinitely. It is only when you keep the battery charge at 100% while simultaneously exposing the battery to high temps that significant stress will be achieved, for example, by gaming with battery at 100% while charger is connected.

Lithium BMS algorithm follows the same principle. Fast charge for example up to 60% then standard charge up to 90% then slow charge up 100%. All that just to keep temps low when nearing 100%.

State of charge without temperature consideration is incomplete basis for how much stress a battery is experiencing. You can keep charging your phone up to 100% at night time and keep it that way for hours without damaging the battery as long as the ambient temp is kept low. Night time charging is the best time to charge due to low temp on whichever region the user is.

It's trickle charge when it reaches 100% on all phones.

Asus did it right with charging controls. Every phone should have something like that from now on. Default settings could be simple dart-charge and walk away but I'd love to see adjustments to prolonging the health of the battery.

Oppo, Xiaomi, and Huawei did right with 2 batteries but 40W should still be peak for that. Taking an hour to fully charge is not a deal-breaker. Heck, I use Android Auto so it's getting a charge there too.
