Technology evolves fast in tech segment.
People trapped inside iOS walled gardens don't have a clue about advancement in other areas of cellphones.

At least with iphones I can buy a second hand one from 2-3 years ago and the phone is still working like a new one. I can't say the same think about an Android phone (with very few exceptions).
But, to be honest I will never buy a new iphone or a new Android flagship nowadays, they are not worth the price.

If apple doesn't exist other manufacturer doesn't even try to innovate.

Don't buy apple products if you don't want one. It's only for the people who believe in the quality of the products they make.
There's much hype about Google pixel buds and it's good for nothing, with all it's static noise and high latency.
In case of Apple airpods pro, you will feel it's worth the price unless you use it.
Apple doesn't do bullshit with no reason.

Similar tactics were pulled to batter Japanee Toshiba and more recently French Alstorm. If the US succeeds with their attempts against Huawei, their next target would be Nokia and Ericsson.
