Yes, the performance gap is big. Exynos 990 is more or less SD720G in terms of overall performance should I suggest.

it should be cheaper than S20 Ultra. prices of mobile devices are sky rocketing and then they assume why people are moving toward midrange mobiles and companies like Xiaomi, Oppo and others are gaining market, just because of insane pricing of so called well known brands flagship devices.
and dont forget the Exynos SoC on many countries, which is garbage comparing to their asking price. while other brands offering Snapdragon 865+ in very affordable price, samsung asking whope 1400+ for Exynos 990 is certainly going to fail.

The 12MP is 5x Optical compared to the 48MP 4x.
Plus the micron pixel is much larger (1.0micron pixel) compared to the 0.8 micron pixel form the S20U.
Also the aperture is f/3.0 compared to the f/3.4 of the S20 Ultra

Most expensive Android, even pricier than top-configuration iPhone.
But second hand price depreciate extremely quickly. Don't forget Samsung installs Exynos SoC in many markets. I thought it was going to use improved Exynos 992, but no.
If Samsung installs SD SoC then it would have cost about $70 more expensive.

The pricing of flagships of the last years is insane, I think the Note 20 Ultra should not even exceed the 1000 euro limit, whereas the normal Note 20 should not be more than 750 euro. At least that is the limit I am willing to spend. I paid 1000 euro for my Note8 almost 3 years ago and I told myself I would never do that again. I am still using it, refusing to pay the price the manufacturers dare to ask.
