Now that's what i call an ad! No funny business, no interruption, plain write it down and make it sound like an interview. P.S they are releasing so many devices, that actually have verry few to no support, because for the moment this is how their marketing strategy was decided. At some point they need to shift to a more stable and reliable strategy.

Why the stupid name like Nazario

CompactPhones5ever, 25 Jul 2020Man, I hate these "commercial interviews" so f*ck... moreI actually agree. Despite the explanations, it's a heavily commercialized interview, as most interviews of this kind are. The answers have most certainly been written / emailed by Realme's marketing team.

Both Madhav Sherh and Manu Kumar Jain are out to make a quick buck at the expense of Indian consumers. But with the anticipated entry of the Jio phones and the anti China sentiment their days are numbered.

Both of them have made statements that at times have been very far from the truth. And example is bothnof them claiming their companies are Indian or displaying the 'Made in India' labels on their boxes and storefronts when everyone knows these are Chinese companies.

The other common thread between Redmi and Realme is while initial offerings offered great value for money, the quality and specs have been downgraded with every new generation. So while the first Redmi phones came with aluminium build, the latest devices (Note 9) are plastic and have Mediatek SOCs instead of the latest Qualcomm offerings.

In 2020 it is best to avoid both these companies and brands.

5G?! So that we can stream Youtube any faster? What exactly is the point on a phone, other than charging a premium for it? By the time VR or AR apps come along to require faster speeds, all the current flagships would be relics.

To me at least, the camera is far more important.

We sell phones we don't sell ads. Realmie s an Indian company.

Realme phones now have ads and even school kids know the origins of Realme.

After reading these two statements the question one asks is can Madhav Sheth be trusted?

"My job is not to confuse Indian consumers"

It's running fine.. Using since 2 years.. But with all their latest garbage that they are selling... I am thinking to move to Xiaomi instead... They have far better ROM development support and easy bootloader unlick process... Also their OS is far less buggy than Realme UI or Color OS...

I am waiting for Redmi 10X Pro 5G to release in my country without that dew drop display..

Realme is slowly slowly becoming a Chutiya Brand... They are increasing the prices of phones but quality of hardware they are providing for the price is way less .. They used to provide good specs for the good price... Now they are just coming up with new phones like if they are selling vegetables... No focus on design and the end-consumer...

They should focus on providing the features customer wants ..
                              1. Notchless AMOLED Displays.... Refresh rate doesn't matter.. 60Hz is more than enough... Those who want more refresh rate get a gaming phone...

                              2. SD CARDS in every phones.. Why just provide them in low-end phones.. And don't tell me they impact performance.. Even if impacts performance... I would take SD card 100 times against no sd card with higher performance... A small "alleged" decline in performance can be tolerated if you ship phones with powerful processors Dimensity 820, SD 765G or SD865.

                              3. Bootloader Unlock *without any issues*... Why the f*ck manufacturers disable Fingerprint when unlocking bootloader or installation of custom ROMs... They want us to stick with their Crappy and Spying Chinese Bloatware filled Spying OS...

Also realme doesn't provide Bootloader unlock capability as soon as you get the device.. You have to wait for almost 6 months to more than a year just to get bootloader unlock and root access... Crappy tactics... Bootloader unlock shd be provided as soon as any OEMs release their phones.. Maximum within 1 or 2 weeks

                              4. Higher storage variants... Gone the era of 64GBs.. Now they should ship phones with 128gb as base storage and giving options for 256gb and 512gb ufs storage with SD CARDS also.. Let usera store things the way they want.. either on internal storage or sd card... We don't want to lose our photos by accidentally flashing a wrong ROM or infinite issues that could happen with Internal storage... SD cards will be safe even if you accidentally drop your phones in water bucket or anything...

                              5. Finally Good Cameras.... Only... And no sh*t of 2MP modules... Provide only Useful cameras just like in case of Asus Rog 3 and Lenovo Duel.. No need of crappy 2MP modules occupying additional storage.. Use that saved space to provide sd card slot.

                              6. Even if for these features, even if price are higher... We will buy phones.. But for those cheap features that all manufacturers provide in their *current* phones that are getting expensive day by day without giving any additional features and they lack all of the above essential features,
                              we won't buy your sh*t..

                              7. Why no NFC,?? NFC is needed for payments, do you have any brains.. Why you exlude this important feature from your phones..

                              8. Keep your 65W 120W 500W charging phones with yourself... or just provide them in gaming phones.. We don't need tese features at the expense of battery longevity.. We are happy with 30W which is more than enough for 99% people .. 1% percent can get gaming phone right away.. We want 30W with at least 4500 mah cell, 6000 is more than enough but i think for currentt technology 5000 is ideal as adding 6000 mah makes the phones beyond the acceptable weight limit .

I wonder why out of so many manufacturers, not even a single OEM can provide all essential features that i stated for a understanable price.. Even if some of them provide, they price their phones 1000 Dollars for good flaships and above 500 dollars for midrangers that lack many important ticks..
