Google is launching the Pixel 4a on August 3 according to the latest rumor

It's going to be way more better than OnePlus Nord....camera will be better I think...phone is compact....true pixel experience... android upgrades....high security than other android's...

    evilboy, 27 Jul 2020correct and 1year extra android upgrade with pixelYeah, and that. It's nice to have, but OnePlus will still release security updates the third year. Won't be as timely, but still fine.
    And as far as I know, OnePlus sometimes releases one more major update than promised.

    But yeah, better main camera (but most likely worse video), compact size and stock Android experience with 3 years of guaranteed OS updates are the only things in favor of Pixel 4a.

    And since it will cost almost the same as Nord (unless they make Pixel cheaper), it's not really worth it, at least for me.

      With the release of Nord (and SE, and a lot of other phones), the only thing that can make the 4a sells is, the starting price. I know it's just wishful thinking, but if they suddenly lowered the price to $299 for the 6/128gb, or, 90hz/5g at $349 (rumored Pixel 4a 5G, google it) totally an instant buy from me (and many others as well). I'm still waiting for it.

      Well, @jon_prosser said it's 100% August 3rd. Let's see.

      And yes, i am ready to be disappointed. LMAOOOOO

            A competitor for the iphone se in the states.
            For the rest of the world is useless, only for fans.

              Stop posting all these speculations. The last 3 times GSMarena reported on pixel 4a it was FALSE. Also go get some decent looking photos, not these blurry, watermarked ones.
              Stop giving google traction for this poor mess of a release, just stop

                Too late. I considered buying Pixel 4a because of its smaller size, but it's too late now. And unless they change the pricing, Nord is better in literally every way, maybe except the camera.
