It is less than 500 nits on 11 inch LCD panel of Tab S7 , upto 500 nits Amoled panel of Tab S6 and 550 nits for the iPad pro LCD panel

Yronk, 29 Jul 2020 The pen is 8ms latency which is very fast extra 120ghz..al... moreI love amoleds, but they have to be done right - sadly iPad Pros LCDs often have much higher brightness and no PWM to speak of ... so unless you are just looking at movies, iPad LCD were "better".
I really hope it changed or simply it got on a proper level of quality. My S4 is sadly not quite as good and if I am not mistaken S5 and S6 are using the same screen.

8" tablets are useless as Note series are now close to 7" (6'9)

TBH if the price will be anywhere near iPad Pro and it won't have a headphone jack as well, it will be really hard not to pick iPad Pro.
Hopefully new pen is great, 120Hz helps latency, new DeX finally supports 4K etc.
I would really like to buy new tablet, but it feels like Samsung is removing some features and iPad is getting better with iOS updates.
