Our Motorola Moto G Pro (aka G Stylus) video review is up

No ordinary mid-ranger, this phone has a stylus - but is it a budget alternative to the Galaxy Note series or just a mid-ranger with a gimmick?

There's an interesting difference between Moto G Stylus and the Moto G Pro. The latter is sold in the EU and is coming with Android One (3y of updates). The Moto G Stylus has the standard Moto UI and will get only 2y updates. The EU version has NFC and dual SIM.
I don't understand this difference, but the EU version sounds like the better option - apart from the higher price.

Articles like this are good for checking device features, but these days everybody should be emphasizing how long the manufacturer promises to support the device, with OS updates and more importantly, security patches.
From the previous disappointment from Moto, I won't touch another one of their devices - sure, it's great hardware and it lasts, but I haven't had a security patch for 18 months, Moto/Lenovo just disown their products.

I have bought Moto E4 Plus and G6. They have same problem. They hung frequently. With three options wait close etc.

I checked this model out at my cell carrier's store. It's surprisingly light, and the screen has good resolution. Nice to see that it has a 3.5 mm jack too. I won't be getting anything with a midrange chipset SoC though, until 10 nm Qualcomm SoCs are commonplace in the midrange, which to date, have been very battery efficient, eclipsing both the 855 and 865+ 7 nm SoCs in terms of battery efficiency/longevity.
