SD720G is an odd choice for Oppo Reno4 series. Should use D1000+, or at least SD765G. If SD720G is the only viable 4G SoC that is available for a 4G phone, it is time to abandon the '4G ship' completely.

Reno series used to be highlight their cameras, bragged about zooming capabilities. Now they're completely gone. Oppo turned Reno series into ordinary phone with uninspiring camera setup.

too high priced, samsung m31s has best camera for half the price. Better battery. Just for fast charge cannot sacrifice camera. This crap camera comes at 10k range. Its time oppo closes its shop in india, im just angry why asus cannot launch a good midrange best camera phone..what people want is a good camera with medium wideangle, good zoom lens possible a periscope and a good night camera. All is possible in 2 camera setup. No need of macro or telephoto.. iam not into measuring depth of focus. Its time to stop bla bla about depth.. just a question if telephoto matters a lot howmany does own 3d tv and howmany enjoy depth.. stop the gimmick give a good single camera and add periscope than 4 or 5 or 8 camera.. its nonsense and sad oppo is becoming one. Hopefully zenphone 7 will put a end to this. Hopefully gsmrena will review m31s camera soon, the sensor is very promising one, and better than 50k phones..

I guess it makes sense, the 90 Hz drains battey faster, hence you need faster charging. End result is extra €60. But one wonders if the hardware is identical, just a flip of switch away?

They made my decision easy. No telephoto -> No buy
The SoC is also weak for the price they are asking. There are better and cheaper phones available.

iRajApple, 31 Jul 2020Apple is coming up with a 5.4 inch phone. I am a big fan of... moreI don't think Android will follow even if the 5.4 inch iPhone becomes a huge success. We didn't get a successor for S10e this year. Apart from Pixels or Android go phones, there aren't any new phones below 6 inches. Part of the reason is minimum specs expected from an Android phone.
Currently any high or even mid-range Android phone is expected to come with HRR screen, at-least 3-4 rear camera sensors(including useless ones) and a 700 or 800 Series Snapdragon/ 800 or above Dimensity chip-set. All this requires a large battery(4000mAh+). It is very difficult to cram all the above components in a small chassis with sufficient cooling.
I think Pixel 4a, whenever it finally launches, would be the flag-bearer of compact Androids this year.
