Exynos is useless. I have Note20 Exynos and Tab S7 Snapdragon. The Tab is so smooth in every aspect, i feel the lag obviously with Note20. The same games i play with both devices (Rise of kingdoms), Tab is smooth and Note20 is jerky; game loading is also faster on Tab. Congrats to those Note20/Ultra owner with Snapdragon, you have a good phone. I will never buy Exynos phone from now on, i would rather wait for some times to get a Snapdragon version from oversea.

The OnePlus device I'm using right not is hands-down the best device I've ever used. I can't imagine what a problem it would be when I need to upgrade, that's if I ever needed that.

As a galaxy S series users for years, there is a big diffrence between these chipsets, you can boil your eggs on exynos while snapdragon ia cold as a dead body, Im ordering s20 with snapdragon online, not splashing my money on far inferrior chipset.

Exynos Soc aren’t that bad at all, but snapdragon fan boys and some you tubers reviewer trying to shows that Exynos are worst Soc around and they forget that snapdragon used to be the worst smartphone Soc in the world couple of yers ago.

Also I&#... moreYou need to check one plus forum and YouTube about screen issue you will not noticed unless if use special app that shows screen issue plus one plus 8 pro aren’t that smooth try to use QHD and 120fps then use YouTube or apps that needs scroll up and down like Twitter you will notice laggy scroll here and there due to the bad touch latency of one plus.

If they would lower the price on the Exynos versions of the phone I see no problem in it.
But Sammy would never do that. They are too stubborn. I think it will come back and bite them in the butt - especially when the flood of Youtube comparisons between E990 and SD865+ begin to surface.

They are forcing the rest of the world other than korea and usa to buy the exynos chip, that wouldn't be a huge deal if the performance was on par with the sd version. Also if ur going to sell something inferior, do not sell it for the same or higher price than ur superior product. People say apple have some shady business tactics, take a look at Samsung over here with their own stupidness. If a 20% difference in performance is not a deal breaker for u idk, maybe the fact that the phone heats up in mere minutes and further reduce the performance making the difference in performance gap goes higher? Samsung is selling 2 different phone using the same name. That's a shady business practices right there. A cpu is the heart and soul of a system, changing it is going to change the whole system.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2020still rubbish 🗑 performance compared to snapdragon they n... moreUhhh, I'm not a fan of the exynos but 1 thing i know is that the problem with exynos is not the CPU performance its the GPU and the fact that it produce so much heat that it throttle the performance after a few minutes of heavy task. Well if they can't sort out the problem with the temperature no amd gpu can save them. Idk if u don't know it, but amd is good with CPU and still not so great with GPU. Amd vs intel they are winning big, but amd vs Nvidia they are still left behind. I have 0 expectation for exynosXamd. What should have happened is amd chip replacing exynos only if this happens I would expect something good. Because with snapdragons they are able to get such great performance is only because they make both the cpu and gpu and hence they can optimize the chip to work well with each other compared to someone who makes 1 thing for a few different people and the people who received the product have no idea how to optimize it with their product and just slam it however they can.

Also I've never used a smoother Android phone than this (it's my first OnePlus phone), Oxygen OS though not as rich in features as OneUI, it's so fluid, the phone even makes my iPhone Xs look laggy and I used to find iPhones way smoother than Androids.

I think I get what Samsung is trying to do.
They wanna make their flagships home for their chipsets just like apple.
But dear Samsung, pls make sure they are just as good or better than the snapdragons before you do such. Lest, you loose the flagship game and get a clear shame.
