The dual boot option sounds good but is actually kind of pointless. Most people won't reboot their watch to change their need. If they want battery, they'll keep it in battery saving mode (which makes this a stupid purchase for just that) or they'll keep it in smart mode and charge it daily. The smartest option is to buy a watch that has smart features but lasts a few days on one charge. The Amazfit range springs to mind.

too late. I bought 2nd hand 280 usd apple watch series 4 + 80 usd 2nd hand iphone 6 which I will stick at home just to sync (by wifi, in the apple watch by LTE) the watch
and still have android oppo my 1st and only phone

More of the same. I'll wait until Snapdragon 4100+ watches... And watch if finally, the battery life in Smartwatch Mode worth buy them and can also be used as sport watches too, nstead of have two, cutting the 24/7 monitoring to use a proper sport watch for training.
