Anon, 02 Aug 20201+ phone's only usp are the screen and the oxygen OS, ... moreI buy oneplus because it can use my card reader correctly. Lightroom sees the reader and automatically upload to cloud. I've tried other brands, but they need all files to be on the phone, before they can be uploaded.

bends and display issues. no thanks.

Multiple garbage cameras in favour of one good one. So over it.

I would prefer to choose samsung m31s.. which has better display and camera

Now there is news of Pixel 4a launching at 349$. If it gets priced below 30 k it will completely disrupt Nord sales and other mid range one plus phones. Here google has good opportunity to gain market share in india. Hopeful they won’t go greedy and launch it at 500 $ as in past.

Cheap build (even though it tried to look like a premium phone), no headphone jack (to promote the sales of their wireless buds), no SD card slot (to force you to buy higher storage version which they have higher profit from), 2MP macro sensor (that literally takes worse macro photos than if you just took it with main camera and cropped it) and depth sensor (that's basically fake because the portrait photos work even when its covered).

            "New beginnings!"

1+ phone's only usp are the screen and the oxygen OS, but even the screen shows a deep green tint at lower brightness, so I don't think people (except fanboys) are gonna buy it only for the OS

In India, the Realme X3 zoom with SD855+ and IFS3.0 costs the same as Nord. No Amoled display, but still 120hz and a periscope zoom camera make up for it

I pre-ordered the phone but sent mine back. All that talk about "premium materials" and they give it a plastic frame that snaps under stress. And my decision has been vindicated now all the screen issues are coming.

That's maybe because it's worse than 7t, only has 5g upgrade and costs the same as 7t does now.

Most people wanted wireless charging, jack and ip rating on it too. We saw what that did to the op8 price. I hope 8t won't be a disappointment.

I don't understand how people can be disappointed, such good value for money.

Everyone talks like pocophone is free. Pocophone in Europe costs 550€, unless you buy from chinese sellers, they import the chinese version and install the global rom... No proper warranty.

Nord costs 370€ (with Amazon discount).

In equal conditions, the phocophone costs almost 200€ more in Europe.

For anyone that doesn't play games, the Nord is more than capable. Better cameras in general, better support.

I said I would get it but now after the reviews i realised it's not worth it.

August Heart, 02 Aug 2020Almost every other tech site has given the Nord high rating... moreJust because the phone has high ratings doesn't mean everyone will like the phone. I personally think this is a garbage phone. Didn't liked the dual hole punch camera style, no stereo speakers, plastic frame and has two absolutely useless camera just for the sake of having four camera at the back.
OnePlus hyped the phone so much, as if it's something very special for budget conscious consumer. But the end result was just a rebranded run of the mill phone for the price it's offered at.

I dont understand that Pete Lau was saying; LCD screen wasnt for them evn their this mid ranger. But thn they managed to put this quad camera gimmick all these chinese are doing at 200$ segment. Depth n macro are jus mehhhhh

Yeah, it's just a very uninteresting device, to me.
Go with a good Snapdragon 855 phone from last year. Better specs, perf and probably camera for ~$400
