My OP 7 went wrong , a courier arrived and took the phone and in a week I had it back fixed. Try that with Xiaomi ect. You get what you pay for.

I will never buy a phone that I can't see first in retail store, no matter what all unboxers and reviewers say. At the end of the day you should trust only your hands and your eyes.

A pill-shaped screen cutout and no 3.5 mm headphone jack were deal breaker for me.

In my country the Nord costs 450 euros, yet the poco F2 400euros.
Oneplus grew in me, they focused on speed and delivered the spec for the right price. I can afford the most expensive phones, but i don't want to burn cash either. My priority was a functional, elegant and trustworthy mobile, without the inflated software Sammy has and Sony's bezels. For me cameras were never a priority, the priority is the display, fluidity and battery. Oneplus delivered there, made a name for themselves and then, like the rest has started chasing profit. Using multiple cameras and other gimmicks as an excuse they have inflated prices and are starting to use bloatware too. They have turned their back to their core base fun who chose them for being one of the few ones not doing that.
It's a shame, a disgrace actually that Nord comes with such dated and cheap specs, like ufs 2.1, the 765, ddr4, no sassis or waterproofness support etc and they charge this entry level spec phone as an expensive mid-ranger only because it has 6 ol cameras.
It wouldn't be a bad phone at 300 but at 450we expect far better specs. Oneplus are in for the profit now, they know their fans are not fooled by marketing tricks, because this is what brought them aboard in the first place, yet now they have focused at young Instagram girls, who only care about cameras and could be fooled to buy 4 year old specs because the phone looks like the 1000euro onepluses

It's better to get pixel 4a or any samsung phone than this fragile low cost OP phone. Operational 5G is pointless till 2022. Also operational high frequency of 5g does no good wrt coverage. Don't even think of that, if u r from india.
I prefer samsung M31s over this for my usage.

I would rather buy the iPhone se
It has a much better camera than the Nord

I honestly would just buy one of the past one plus phones like a 6T. I usually buy Motorola phones on the Android side. Sometimes I get a Samsung but use Nova launcher to make it look like a Motorola with that stock Android feel. Motorola is the king of mid-range.

Earlier peopl... moreExactly, actually Samsung is launching the M51 with SD 730 in the next 20-30 days. The SD 730 is on a 8nm node & only has 10% lower performance than the 765 (see Notebo0kcheck .net stats), but is a lot cheaper than 765 so M51 will cost around ₹23k-24k, completely crushing the Nord.( https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-m51-wi-fi-certification/ )
Also, a lot of people are waiting for the Asus Zenfone 7 laucnhing with SD 865, instead of buying the ₹ 28,000 Nord, spend 7-8k more and get a true flagship killer for ₹36k-37k.
