My OP8 pro showing none of those problems.
I can dig up tons of post on Apple forums about similar heating issues.

Not at all optimized.
Not to forget battery gate scandals and cheap 3rd grade quality like the iPad pro 2020.

Highly suggest that you compare all three phones side by side (you can include a SD powered Samsung and an iPhone) to prove the point.
I'm pretty sure at the same settings on a game, the S20 will heat up the quickest. Software optimisation also plays a role, the OnePlus has less bloatware as well.
Either the iPhone or OnePlus should rank first. (iPhone is optimised but has weak cooling solution, only a small piece of graphite layer, OnePlus depends)
Read my comment stating about the gaming performance of S20. I have experienced a S10 Exynos so I have a general idea of how this works.
Heck, even a Chinese pitting S20+ Exynos and Redmi Note 8 Pro and that Redmi thermal throttles less than the S20+.

Anonymous, 06 Aug 2020Lol any flagship can be a gaming phone with their high end ... moreThat so-called flagship Exynos chipset in that Note 20 is not even suitable for gaming.
Can only play smoothly in PUBG Mobile at smooth 60fps, where iPhone 11 series, Kirin 990-powered Huawei and many SD865 phones can push past HDR 60fps without lag, maybe gets warm though
Stutters in COD Mobile at very high settings (60fps) especially in BR mode
Funny cannot even play less demanding games such as Into The Dead 2 and Armed Heist at maximum settings
That's not called a gaming phone. What an embarassment. Cooling case cannot help with Exynos thermal throttling.
Check emission tests such as in NotebookCheck and S20 Ultra can reach past 50 degrees celcius, critical levels that can damage battery quickly. iPhone stays at 40, best flagships run at 35.

Is this another one of those "solutions for the very problems they created" situations?
Like making thin phones with glass backs and then covering them with ugly thick cases?

By its existence alone, this thing right here is a proof that the stupid obsession of ultra thinphones is not only illogical (it doesn't offer any comfort advantages) but also totally stupid (as basically no one is able to tell WHY they would prefer a slimmer phone), as many would buy case that make the phone considerably thicker buy improve heat and give protection.
Funnily enough, the only "defense" of ultra thin phone advocate is to talk about overly thick phones like the Energizer one which indeed is really thick.
Under 10mm there is no point making any device slimmer as it give no advantages, actually it is even less comfortable to hold, 15mm is a good average/max thickness.
The fact that Razer made those, prove there is demand for phones/accessories regardless if the phone endup thicker than the 7 to 9mm average.
Go Razer !
