      raben, 06 Aug 2020please compare photos and videos with OnePlus Nord as well ... moreThere are a few videos on yt made by good phone reviewers showing camera comparison between 4a nord and se. The videos are really good. I recommend that if you don't have patience until the complete review here on gsmarena to check them out. Cheers

          The compact phone I was struggling to find these days!
          But I would like to pay 50€ more to get on-screen fingerprint reader and wireless charge (IPx rating and 1080p@240fps was a nice to have too for sports)

          Please confirm if the eSIM functionality will not be available on all countries. I plan to use it with dual sim in Portugal, but while Vodafone here supports it, I've read the Pixel will not.

            Pls check for network speeds and connectivity issues. Most phones come with 4x4 MIMO these days while the Pixel 4a doesn't, AFAIK from the spec sheet at Google Store. Ironically it's usually considered trivial.

              Love my Pixel 3a XL. Still a champ a year and a half-ish after purchasing it. I'm skipping the 4a, but hoping it does well so they keep releasing this series. I'll want a 5a for sure, I'm just conditioned by the phone companies to upgrade every 2 years at this point. No need to do it sooner than that. I'm not careful enough with my phone to do it less often than that either.

              There is absolutely no reason to buy a $800+ flagship if you're a standard phone user (call, text, social media, light gaming, and photos). The 3a XL camera is still amazing to this date, and I can only assume the 4a will match/exceed that.

                The main problems of Google Pixel 4a:

                - low availability;
                - low popularity (which leads to, e.g., very high prices on all Pixels in Russia: $460 for Pixel 3a XL and $810 for Pixel 4 XL 6/128);
                - hole-punch selfie camera (looks worse than any other option);
                - no XL version with QHD+ screen;
                - kinda low performance for the price;
                - some features make sense only in US;

                      Please do a detailed overview of both wired headphone sound quality/loudness and the front/selfie camera quality (particularly picture sharpness, on which I've read mixed reviews from other sources).

                          Anonymous, 06 Aug 2020I really fail to see why this phone gets so much hate. The ... moreI think the size is fantastic. A compact phone with a large screen and the experience I've had with the flagship 3 experience is outstanding.
                          It's like the phone is always new. Added non slip Matt back is a bonus.
                          Tried a few other types of brands I keep come to the pixel every time

                                I would like to know if the USB 3.1 is real or is it just 2.0? Can you please make a transfer test with a laptop? Thanks a lot, it would mean that you can use the phone as a backup "drive" if you can manage the storage efficiently.

                                  I really fail to see why this phone gets so much hate. The compact form factor alone makes it great. Now add the software support, the decent midrange processor (which is better than any processor my phones have had), the matte finish and the camera performance and you have the phone I've been waiting for for years now!
