Anonymous, 30 Jun 2012Go ahead. There are many eager suppliers around the world d... moreNo you are wrong. very few company wish to deal with Apple. Either way, if you buy a iphone or Samsung phone, Samsung will be paid. So this ban really doesn't impact Samsung much which is why they didn't change anything. look at HTC. They knew Apple will try and stop the HTC One X. HTC made software changes to bypass these patents for all US phone even before the court had made the ruling.

Yes what apple is doing is wrong, but this problem here is the USA patent laws. Is US you can patent something that you did not invent. You can even patent something that is already in the market. Notice how these bans apple have in the US fail in overseas courts. The laws need to be changed in the US for the Apple behavior to stop.

Simple: Apple hates competition. Apple wants consumers to be deprived by innovations. They want all consumers to get fed by Apple's limited menu. Apple fans won't surely understand this logic as they are the result of successful brain-washing experiment.

Yet another example of why Apple is a hypocritical tyrant, and why I am wholeheartedly backing Android and its manufacturing partners nowadays. Perhaps the US could stop allowing ridiculous patents, and not tempt fate with selfish and insatiable companies like Apple? Yeah, the Galaxy Nexus is a threat to iPhone sales- please. Down with tyranny!

Actually Apple does not even have these "patents" because Swedish "Neonode" have the patent in USA for "slide to unlock"!
Android have been able to search through multiple sources since Android version 1.0, and systemwide search since Froyo, and computers have been doing this for more than 10 years!
Apple should never have been allowed to patent the rectangular shape as on iPads!
Steve Jobs was evil and wanted to completly destroy Android, they do not want to give licenses they actually wants to hurt Samsung..., and that is the reason why Apple try to even use patents they do not even have to ban Androids from the market!

Samsung and Google both have stolen, read FOSS Patents regarding this, and bear in mind that this very same judge last week dealt a very severe blow to Apple in another case, so think about that. What does that mean in the case regarding Samsung.

They stole, they infringed, even semi-confessed at one point, but the most glaring evidence which has been provided over time, is the SUDDEN departure in design in the SGS3. Does nobody here have the ability to analyse things anymore?

I respect Apple, but this has made it ever so frustrating to even think about getting an IOS device. I have a SGSIII and love it, and a Xoom and like it, however i may have considered an iphone if it had a 4.5inch display, not any more. Google for me, forever now.

[deleted post]You really are not seeing this as it should! This is not a matter of if you love or hate a brand, this is a matter of fear of the competition of lack of will to innovate and progress, these patents are stupid, I can justify Apple when sues have been about design, but this is simply idiotic.

I love Android and I love my Nexus, but not because of it I despise the other brands or products, but certainly Apple has lost the few respect I had for them, Their products can be good, but their vision is childish!

I myself first saw that with apple device. There's alot of ways to unlock, like a specific button to unlock. I do have a samsung jet before and to unlock it is to hold the padlock icon for about 2seconds.

What monopoly are you talking about? :)

In North America monopoly is veeeeery popular. I've been in Canada for few months and can not believe what poeple are paying to cell phone carriers because of Monopoly.

Imagine, a phone has about 1 year active product life, and if the court can kill half of it through patent ban, its already winning half the war. I always loved Apple back in the 3G Days. When Iphone 3G came out, It dropped a bomb in the mobile world. I can agree that the specs are not so high as you would expect it to be, But it stood up for the peoples needs. I am a proud owner I admit.

Its just sad is that as time flies, The upgrade VS price is not too desirable. I just wish that they would just spend the money on upgrading the phone and make it as an affordable phone which is accessible to everyone. I am not rich, and not every people is rich. So we would always go for the value for our money.

I love both Apple and Google. I just hope they would stop this and work together instead. As for Samsung, I am not the biggest fan of their phones but I do love their digital cameras :)
