JDK, 08 Aug 2020LoL. You're so called "next generation of graphic... moreIf you had the knowledge you claim you'd know that they are not using their own custom large cores in the next gen soc.

And also that before the last two years where they started designing large cores their regular custom and semi custom cpu cores were more powerful and more efficient Qualcomm's.
So there won't be a bad cpu throttle issue with the next gen.

And even if they continued with their custom large cores within the next generation their designs would have improved and continued to get more efficient.

Even apple struggled with power draw, heat, and throttling the first 2 or 3 years of switching to large cores.
And Qualcomm is no stranger to throttling from poor designs or shifts.
Its just the name of the game.

What phone do you use that still has the Snapdragon 821?

In a Samsung User and Exynos is Best over all not security Flaws or data breaches live Qualcomm chip where mostly people prefer qualcomm or mediatek over Exynos but Qualcomm is mostly used processor globally so Hackers can easily find a flaw or use backdoor to steal all user data without knowing. So to all Qualcomm Fans Don't Judge or Criticize only Exynos try to find out and know your chip manufacture company fault too most important Security flaws

Samsung can try to make the best GPU they can, but if the CPU still throttles, we will only see minor improvments.

Yes, SamMobile has high expectations on Samsung, as they should have. Which is why Samsung is collaborating with AMD to deliver next level graphics performance to mobile.
Samsung is the only brand holding Qualcomm back from going all-in Intel and overcharge the community for deliberately low annual updates. Yes, Samsung have been a little behind the last couple years, which is normal in this business. Qualcomm was massively behind a few years ago, delivering processors that were broken out of the factory.

If you think your hate will change the minds about your backdoor brands from China, you have got to try harder.

This conversation is probably irrelevant for a longer perspective, as your Huaweis, Xiaomis and whatnots will be banned on this side of the planet sooner rather than later. We don't want another Cambridge Analytica. Especially not one coming from a sinister autocracy like China.

MrWhoseTheBoss S20 Ultra comparison shows it. Thermal throttling test on Notebookcheck also shows, it can even exceed 50°C (critical temperature for a regular phone). Android Authority and SamMobile says Exynos 990 is underpowered.

Tested S10 Exynos on Tau Ceti Technology Benchmark (a simulation game that tests CPU/GPU and fps) and just stutters and heats up a lot, even on low settings. Other flagship phones breeze through medium and above. Dissapointing battery life on either S10 or S20 too.

You should just buy and use one instead of defending Exynos, because I owned Samsungs before.

nevertheless, it is a great job mediatek put forth.it is a win situation for buyers

I have just seen a S20 Ultra user (also tested S10 Exynos myself) running Tau Ceti (benchmark, but also a game simulation). It just stutters badly even at low (not minimum) settings at 1080p (Vulkan version doesn't run the game)-while other phones just breeze through at least low or medium settings for flagships.

Android Authority already mentions that S20 underperforms in their review. SamMobile (a Samsung website) was also dissapointed with it. It's just their CPU architecture to blame like Anandtech mentioned a long time ago, using custom cores and using bad GPU drivers when an upgrade is simple (it's a bit better now).

Just speaking of intel, yeah intel loses out to AMD in terms of performance but has better drivers

There's a separate leaderboard for iOS devices as the benchmarking system in Antutu differs slightly.

But yeah Antutu is a biased tool. Prefer a speed test that assess CPU and GPU.

Intel is doing this all the time to mitigate their huge disadvantage vs AMD at the moment.

Thankfully Huawei has been forced to stop making processors so they might tone down their fake news spam a bit in the future, as they're becoming more and more irrelevant in western markets.
