So your way of thinking, needs a bit of work buddy ;)

That doesn't seem like a lot of battery to me.

There's a reason all larger size foldables from Samsung/Huawei has a screen at the outside (be it the main or extra screen). They know what usability is, they have the experience in making phones.

If it were a little bit smaller 21:9 Ratio near bezel less..and front firing speakers wouldve been pocketable...they putting 16:9 for laptop mode

If MS allow the OS (Android) which used for surface duo to install Lumia 950/950XL, will be a great job. The people who believes in MS and spend a huge money to buy 950/950XL, they will be happy.

This thing is taking far to long to be launch, October it was announced I was waiting to purchase one, am not waiting any longer am going to spend my money else where.

A phone in 2020, not launching with the 865+, not the 865, not the 855+, but the 855. Is this a joke.

I'm sure for you it must be exhausting to unlock your phone every time you open it. Or have to charge it every time it dies. Gtfo here

potato4k, 09 Aug 2020But are you going to keep it folded like that when you don&... moreSo it seems its not the device for you and you have plenty other choices. Personally I dont see the issue opening the device, already see all notifications on my watch which makes the external screen useless. Its not like the external screens have been useful for anything other than viewing anyway (except fold2 but that one is 17mm thick which doesnt suit me)

Surface duo < surface phone fan concept < any other real foldable < mate x/X2 < what you want for that money..

Roger, 09 Aug 2020Horrible camera, horrible battery life this device is DOAThis phone clearly isn't meant for photography, it's clearly a phone for people who want to be able to be productive in the go, without having to open up their laptops/PC's.

Concerning the battery, Microsoft/Panos Panay has always done an excellent job with battery life on Surface devices, so it could be they have a trick up their sleeves. As a passionate Surface user, I personally have faith that they know what they are doing. We can't judge the battery life just yet but then again MS/PP also aren't stupid either, especially considering Panos himself will be using the device.

In the end, you are going to keep opening and closing it everytime you want to use it. Cool for the first day of use, annoying after second day, downright useless after a week. There's a reason all other Android foldables either have the main screen at the outside part, or have an extra screen, be it big or small, on the outside part for usage while the device is closed.

Probably a dual OS with full Windows 10 and Android would be a very interesting device... but this is just a 2 big bezel android phones with hinges like the ZTE Axon M.
