Huawei Mate X2 to come with an inward folding display

The original mate x and xs were better, slimmer and more realistic . Why Samsung is winning the market share despite that thick of a device 16.8 mm to 11.8 is huge difference is price $2000 vs $2600 for hauwei. Also note I would not risk my $2000 or $2600 on a phone which I am not sure has a future due to android ban on hauwei otherwise the mate x was wayy better than.er

Mrwhosetheboss said samsung did it worse with 2 displays (one on inside one on outside), using 2 different sets of cameras (back and front setup) and having a thicker device.
With Huawei Mate X it was all 1 display hence a slimmer phone and it only had cameras on the back which could be used as front selfie cameras and he praised this soooo much.
But look what Huawei is doing its basically the Fold 2 because even they know that screen wont be protected from scratches even if their fanboys are delusional.
He also praised the Motorla Razr flip phone and didnt mind the really small screen because of nostalgia but on the Original fold which had a larger screen than the razor albeit small was a huge neagtive.
Even reviewers show their fanboy attitude sometimes

Unless the Stylus is made of feather or marshmallows, it will be damaging the screen about 10 times faster.

Mr. Whosetheboss didn't like the Galaxy Z Fold 2 because of the complex design whereas the Mate X is simple. Two screens compared to all in one? Same three cameras in all perspectives in the Mate X against the multiple cameras on the Fold? Looks like Huawei's going to do a similar thing. At least the screens protected.

Huawei is copying the Samsung Fold Design. Regardless, this will be an even greater disaster than the Mate X.
"The sketches provided by Huawei to EUIPO revealed the foldable smartphone will have a slot for a stylus, and it will come with a total of six cameras - four at the back and two on the front, housed on the vertical sidebar, which is also home to the secondary display."
With the MateX since it was all screen outside, so the cameras were on only one side and that's why their numbers were much lesser. Now it has to have 6 cameras, like the Samsung, cause it folds inwards. The Stylus may not fit in, without making it much thicker than it is right now, and much heavier. Most importantly the dimensions of the MateX2 is so strange, that it will be very difficult to be able to fold it small enough to be able to put it in a pocket. It's more square than rectangular.
The cameras will be great on the MateX2. Everything else will be disastrous.

Think Huawei nailed it again, this shows a mobile world without Huawei would be a poor world without any big innovation, improvements or upgrade.
As long Huawei still here Sammy have to be awake and give customers what they want.
If no Huawei, it all would be a poor show run by Sammy only.

Full thickness for sensors of all purpose cameras, pen even. Now I'm not sure how to take pics normally(maybe it will fold also outwards?). 3.5 jack would be welcome but not anyone is able to bring that.

Android.Master, 09 Aug 2020First they copied the ugly rectangular camera design and no... moreI totally agree with you that outward folding is better, but the issue that HUAWEI are not able to replace the screen protector which easy to scratch , im trying hard with the HUAWEI service center in my country and they are not able to fix it , i told them to take it and give me a p40 instead but they refuse which is much cheaper than my mate xs and the same time they are not able to fix it
By the way its under warranty and they say one time screen protector to be changed
