Why not opt for 10 x or even 15 x optical zoom in stead of these crazy digital zoom lengths. Image quality will be horrible. Just look at the S20 Ultras hideous zoom quality.

AnonD-909757, 10 Aug 2020Ditto to my previous comment about IP rating. And well, ... moreThe macro camera can be used with the ultra wide just like the mi 9 wich can use macro shots from the ultra wide cam ,that's why there are only 4 cameras , so no 0.00002 mpx macro camera🙃

KebabSLO, 10 Aug 2020If price is around 800 € here in EU i will buy it for sure.Don't expect less than 1200€

And well, we still don't know what camera configuration it will use, sadly we aren't going to see omnidirectional PDAF like an IMX689 or IMX700...
Lets just hope they didn't put any sub 12MP sensors, and certainly no 2 or 0.5MP like most brand do for Macro or Depth, rendering them totally useless because of those stupid low resolutions.

Drkavint, 10 Aug 2020Add 3.5mm jack and ip rating , will take it for 60k i.e. 90... moreDon't get fooled by IP rating, it is useless.
Not only it doesn't guarantee anything, but it is actually not even that effective.
No brand cover water damages, they even go as far as putting water damage stickers in their phone, simply because it would be a big enough loss to replace all phones damaged or killed by liquids, clearly indicating that it happen a lot, and indeed you can find countless report of IP67 and IP68 rated phones damaged or killed by water.
Meanwhile the OnePlus 7(t) Pro proved to be more than durable enough against water, even while having a pop up and no official IP rating, to survive accidental drop.

IP rating isn't waterproof by the way, it is water resistance, which is totally different, the tests don't need to be repeatable, they are performed in lab conditions with brand new phones that have no wear what so ever and probably only with clean tap water, so except costing millions that then increase the phone's cost, it literally is useless, even worse, peoples think it mean the phone can easily go underwater, while clearly it isn't the case, making them take risks, and for many, loosing their phones.
If you were to take 1000 OnePlus 7(t) Pro vs 1000 IP68 rated phones and water test them, of course more OnePlus 7(t) Pro would die, even though multiple IP68 rated phone would too.
But you'll find way more report of IP68 rated phones dead or damaged by water than OnePlus 7(t) Pro, if you were to compare to a similarly successful (in number of sells) phone, simply because the IP68 which give "peace of mind" actually trick you into doing dangerous things with your phone, like wash it with water, film stuff underwater, bring it to the pool, etc.
While OnePlus 7(t) Pro owners would be more water risks conscious and would avoid such situations.

Meaning, not only IP rating actually doesn't even guarantee anything, but in fact, it is a cause of more phones being killed by water because of user behaviour.

If price is around 800 € here in EU i will buy it for sure.

The same reflections in the lens, the same light angle on the brushed black parts even the same moire pattern on the metal piece around the periscope lens. Good catch.

I hope they use 8gb ram instead of 16gb
                        And 128 instead of 256gb
Because I will not even use 64 /6
And please no ip rating or useless qhd , adding 300 dollars for this beauty already expensive phone can mean that I will not be able to afford it

Thw image is totally fake but if the pricing is right for the specs that's actually a nice deal, wish it had ip68 but oh well

Add 3.5mm jack and ip rating , will take it for 60k i.e. 900$.. such phones are premium not crap mi 10 for which 30k is maximum.let xiomi know that most of its products are cheaper because of low quality from headset to soundbar or tv all worth the money but they deserve only so much..i cannot beleive its mi 10 pricing , its ridiculously overpriced..it cannot compare its product to bbk ...one plus best software, oppo best look, vivo best hardware...xiomi has none of it , so cannot justify its price...this phone does seems good overall. Hopefully xiomi produce this because hardly xiomi phones are worth premium.

Even without pinching your eyes, this is clearly photoshopped. The camera obviously has the exact same lighting as the renders on the banners before.
