Huge 48mp sensor for periscope zoom like Samsung.
Huge main sensor which seems to be better than 108mp sensor.
No wonder this got the highest rating on DxOMark.

            Used to best in video recording in Auto mode in the year 2019.
            We are living in 2020, it's no longer the best.

            Also it was only good in daylight. Low light video wasn't as good because of small weak sensor.

They just waited for the Ultra to come out to give it the highest score and in a couple of weeks they'll release the P40 Pro+ review with the new highest score (probably around 132). Just wait and you'll see.

                        Okay, this MIGHT be better at photo, but video? Seriously, how in the world does this beat the iPhone 11 pro max in video?

                        I notice that DxOmark seems to prioritize camera specs over actual camera proccesing.

                          Why is GSMArena posting all the DxOMark reviews?

                          I find GSMArena's reviews more accurate in general and after being fooled a couple of times by DxOMark, I don't trust their reviews any longer.

                            No way it's better than P40 Pro/Pro Plus. Just no.

Th... moreThe phone makers are the one who provide DxOMark team with the phones to review, some companies send their phones earlier than the others, samsung tried to fix the autofocus issue of the galaxy s20 ultra before handing the phone to DxOMark team, but as we all know the problem of the galaxy camera was a hardware problem that could not be fixed.

                                        I think the 2x optical zoom is for portrait, which is actually great as portrait need a long focal length to obtain a good face shot, which ideally need some zoom as it need to be taken from some distance :
